Tucked away in a quiet setting of cool and lush water oaks and native flora, this cottage has all that you are looking for in a secluded beach getaway. Completely remodeled and updated the cottage features a luxurious coastal interior design that is sure to put your mind at ease.
The Starfish Dune Cottage features a very open living space with a handcrafted barn door that separates the living area and bedroom areas. The living room features plenty of seating with a large sleeper sectional couch and leather recliner. The entertainment alcove features a 50” flat screen TV with Wi-Fi Blue Ray DVD player. Antique wood, round dining table seats 6 and is complemented by a beautiful 8 pendant mouth-blown glass chandelier. 4 more guest can enjoy seating on the counter height slat-backed stools at the serving bar. Flooring throughout the cottage is a beautiful wood-look tile which is covered in some areas with handcrafted designer rugs. The screened-in patio, overlooking the tranquility fountains, stretches the length of the cottage and features a teak wood table and chairs with a remote controlled ceiling fan.
The Starfish Dune Cottage at Hidden Dunes is located on the beach side of Highway 98 just west of Sandestin and less than 1 mile from Silver Sands Premium Outlets. In less than 400 steps you can sink your toes in the sand or use the free seasonal community tram service. The 24-hour security-monitored gated community offers the seclusion you need for the peace and relaxation you seek in a vacation.

Summary: We enjoyed our week at this property. Everything was easy to navigate including the location, check in, communication with the owner, and check out instructions. The condo was clean, comfortable, had all the necessities of home, was in a great location with an easy walk to the beach, and was well decorated. Will recommend to others staying in the area.

Summary: Cottage was perfect for us (family of 4 with 2 teens), clean, spacious, and all the amenities we needed. Beach chairs and toys were handy too. Great location and nice property. Short walk to beautiful beach.

Summary: Great stay; the property is clean and comfortable, and lots of extras! Best stocked of numerous rentals we’ve stayed in at Hidden Dunes. Couch is super comfy, great large table for dining and board games! All items as listed, fast walk to beach or pools, easy parking. Responsive, hospitable owner. Would absolutely recommend and will return.

Summary: I brought my wife and 2 children (5 & 7) to this cottage for a 4 day weekend. We had a great time! The house is nicely decorated and conveniently located. The house was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay again sometime in the future!

Summary: We were looking for a relaxing, stress-free get-away and this property completely met our needs. While not always an option with rentals, we were fortunate (and lucky enough) to work with the owner for a slightly earlier check-in time which allowed our little ones to keep their nap schedule (and made both families incredibly happy). The owner and property mgmt team were on top of things and very attentive when we had a small issue with the refrigerator the first day. From there, we had regular check-ins with the owner to ensure all else was well. The property location to the beach was slightly more than 400 steps (JK .... we are shorter people so 600 steps wasn’t bad) and the pools were certainly refreshing!! We can’t wait to come back with our family!! A couple very MINOR notes if you have littles ones (and this isn’t a distraction from staying in this lovely cottage or property but rather prepare for your trip): there are a fair number of stairs once you get to the beach itself. We ended up leaving our wagons up top and carrying everything down in a couple trips. We recommend purchasing the chair and umbrella package down at the beach for your stay! So worth it!! Last, both of the tubs have fairly high walls so for us shorter mommas, we had to stand to give our little ones baths.
