Find your home away from home in this well-appointed beach house just a short stroll away from the beach. Truly serene, Serenity by the Sea is a beautiful place to take in the beauty as well as the adventures the north Oregon Coast offers, perfect for a family gathering, a friend's trip, or a romantic couple's escape. It is located on a tranquil private street with just one other home and within walking distance or a very short drive to all that Manzanita offers, including dining, coffee shops, golf, wine tasting, and shopping on Laneda Avenue.
A vast entry hall welcomes you inside onto the first floor. A den provides a sleeping area, a twin bed, and an office desk. It's a perfect room to place the little one down for a nap or a quiet place to work while the rest of the group enjoys the living room nearby. Down the hall, the central area has an open concept layout, where the living room is inviting and boasts a gas fireplace, a piano, and seating for everybody. The gourmet chef's kitchen includes high-end appliances, a pantry with plenty of room to store groceries, a center island with a stainless sink, room to prep food, and a breakfast bar. An elegant formal dining room is feet away from a sliding door leading to the back patio, making entertaining a breeze. A half bathroom and laundry area for convenience are around the corner.
Head up the stairs to three bedrooms and a spacious landing which allows the rooms to be spread apart for maximum privacy. The primary bedroom has a luxurious King bed, smart TV, reading couch, and a vast walk-in closet. The incredible ensuite bathroom has a double vanity and a spacious walk-in shower. Across the landing is a bedroom that can double as a kids' room; there is a Queen bed and a set of bunk beds with a smart TV, PlayStation 3, and games. The roomy third guest bedroom has a Queen bed and a smart TV. A full bathroom accommodates both bedrooms with a bathtub and shower combo.
Enjoy the outdoor space on the back patio where there is a picnic table and additional seating. A BBQ is provided with propane for the griller in your group. There is a slight drop-off in the backyard into a stream that runs around the property, so you must watch small children. The garage has an EV NEMA 14-50 outlet, two clam guns, and beach toys. The spacious garage can easily store your bikes or use it to park a vehicle out of the weather if needed.

Summary: My family has come to this house the last two summers and it fits our family perfectly. We have two young children and the house is nice and quiet for nap time and the dead end street is great for practicing biking and scootering.

Summary: We stayed 7 nights in the house and felt very much at home. The location is convenient for walking to the beach. The home was very clean and well stocked with plenty of towels, bedding etc. The kitchen was probably the best stocked of any rental I've seen. Pots , pans , utensils, and lots of clean kitchen towels and hot pads. The home is spacious and bright . The rental company was easy to work with and very efficient in dealing with contract and payments etc. Would definitely use them again!

Summary: This house was very clean and stocked with almost anything needed for a wonderful stay. The kitchen was ready to prepare family meals with many extras you would not expect. Plus only one block away from beach access and walking distance to the shops in Manzanita.
