This exciting, newly listed property just came on the market. Our locally based property manager lives just minutes away and is available anytime to assist you.
Fully renovated in 2018 this 19th century farmhouse is flush with luxury furnishings and modern artwork. With an address on one of the most desirable scenic roads in the Woodstock area this is a gem of a property. The panoramic mountain views are breathtaking. The quaint, meandering Little Beaverkill stream runs through the back of the property and can be seen from the deck.
Inside, an open concept main floor features a gourmet kitchen with white marble counter tops and Subzero & Viking Professional appliances. The cabinets are well stocked with kitchenware to prepare your meals. Ample dinnerware/glassware (including fine stemware & wine decanter) is provided to set your table.
An eat-in kitchen "bar" on the back side of the sink island seats 4. The formal dining table seats 6. An outdoor dining table with sun umbrella seats 4-6.
Large picture windows along the kitchen, dining room and front sitting room showcase the stunning panoramic views.
Behind the kitchen is a cozy family room with a large sectional sofa and blue stone fireplace. Curl up with a book from the library and enjoy! This space has a door which creates separation from the main living area... it is open to the kitchen.
On the other side of the house is a large formal living room with another blue stone fireplace. Get comfortable on the large sofa or over-sized lounge chairs and watch a movie on the new, 55" smart TV. A modern, guest half bath in located on the main floor adjacent to this living room.
Off the living room is the sunroom with floor to ceiling windows spilling out onto the deck. This is a great space for entertaining (perfect to set up food & drink).
Upstairs there is a generous master suite with sitting area and walk-in closet. The master "en suite" bath features an over-sized, custom copper soaking tub, a separate large stand up shower, and a toilet room. The second upstairs bedroom has a contemporary style queen bed-- a beautiful full bath with tub & shower is located right outside the door. The third bedroom has a full sized bed (new pillow top mattress with box spring). This bedroom, while the smallest of the three features the best views. All bed and bath linens are luxurious, 100% cotton. Pillows and blankets are down feather (synthetic available upon request).
The newly constructed deck is spacious and fully equipped to make outdoor entertaining a breeze. Sit back and take in the view on the reclining deck chairs. Enjoy a meal cooked on the grill (propane tanks provided), sit at the outdoor dining table under the sun umbrella and take in the sun setting behind the mountain view.
A screened in porch is located off the front of the house overlooking the garden.
Nature lovers take note! This property is surrounded by the Willow meadow, a highly protected wild area of incredible beauty. This area has been untouched for centuries and there are very few homes along this stretch of land. You will find all kinds of birds and wildlife here including albino deer and bald eagle. This property has the best view of the meadow. The meandering Little Beaverkill stream runs through the property and is great for taking a swim. A groomed, grassy yard slopes down to a crystal clear swimming hole. A small deck with ladder makes water access easy but please swim at your own risk!

Summary: Our family loved settling in this beautiful home for a few days, tucked in the mountains yet close to so many fun towns we wanted to visit during our stay in the Catskill area. The home was beautiful and just as it was pictured. Everything was clean and communication with the property manager was wonderful. We enjoyed waking up to a beautiful view every morning and soaked in the peace and quiet. We explored so much during the day and loved settling back in this home at night. We would definitely stay here again! Also, make sure to visit the Phoenicia Diner when you’re in the area! 😉

Summary: This is one of the best homes I've stayed, just wish we stayed in more to enjoy it! It's a short 10min or so drive to Woodstock and incredibly quiet and peaceful. The views from the deck and bedrooms in back are serene. The home is immaculate, tastefully decorated and has tons of rooms to explore. The owner (Marni) and property manager (Liz) are both wonderfully attentive and gracious. Definitely will be back!

Summary: There are so many spaces for relaxing that are beautifully decorated and lends oneself the opportunity to have privacy amidst a family gathering. Liz the property manager goes way out of her way to satisfy and make everything comfortable! I also can't say enough about the owners of the house, Steve & Marni O, they really care about their guests!

Summary: Perfectly situated between all of the places we want to be. Classic farmhouse look on the outside, wonderfully modern on the inside. Comfy beds, plentiful seating, and an absolutely killer view. Always some small blemishes or inconveniences in a vacation rental - but if you’re disappointed with this place, you simply can’t be pleased. Our family will definitely be back. What a gem. Thank you!

Summary: Beautiful setting in nature. Just a few things kept it from being perfect. No central air conditioning, in window and in room units kept it cool but noisy. One bedroom became overcome with a swarm of bugs at night making it unusable. Some kitchen cabinet doors were broken or missing. The BBQ temp was not adjustable.

Summary: Had a lovely stay at the house --- waking up to the view of the creek and being situated at the base of the mountains. House wasn't quite as it looked in photos -- -- some furniture changes which gave a slightly less cozy feel than we had hoped ; some cabinet repairs happening while we stayed which made it look a little less polished... BUT overall it is a charming house to stay at, and it provided so much peace and quiet for a much needed recharge. The fireplace was epic! Liz was quite helpful, especially when getting us set up what we needed for cooking tools. Thanks again for the lovely stay and a great start to the new year.

Summary: Our family of four had a lovely stay in this charming renovated farmhouse for 5 weeks in June. It was wonderful to have the constant spectacular views of wide-open spaces after quarantining in NJ for three months. It was the perfect house for our much-needed pandemic escape. There were gorgeous bike rides right out the front door and a fabulous rail trail 10 minutes away. In general, people were considerate about mask-wearing and social distancing and we felt safe. The wifi successfully supported working remotely. My husband used the side sunroom as an office and his colleagues accused him of having a bird soundtrack as it was like living in a nature sanctuary. My son worked on-line from his upstairs bedroom. My daughter had the smaller room with the view and found it cozy and comfortable. There were no photos of this room when we booked and she was delighted with her space. As an artist, she found the location inspiring, and created some lovely oil paintings. Although the house seemed smaller than the photos, it had some depth to it and we never felt crowded. With the shady screened porch on one side, lovely deck with views on the other, and multiple seating areas, we could always spread out enough and never felt crowded. The area doesn’t have cell service, but with strong wifi, we were able to use FaceTime and Whatsapp, or use cell service when we were out and about. There were wonderful hikes and swimming holes to explore and the town is very cute, even with the restrictions from COVID, giving us a bit more normal existence than we had been living in quarantine. Bring binoculars. Every day new animals would be spotted on our bike rides or in the yard and stream--bears with cubs, great blue herons, porcupines, turkeys, beavers, and giant vultures. Opus 40 was a fun little outdoor excursion. We would love to return to this home in more normal times to fully enjoy the area.

Summary: We had a very nice time on our visit over Thanksgiving. We brought all of our food to fix an entire Thanksgiving meal. We were missing a few items to cook with but the property manager made sure that we were taken care. The only issue we had was the heat in two of the bedrooms was not operational for a few days. We notified the manager and she was able to get someone to get it fixed. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience.
