SHASTA LAKESHORE RETREAT #7 is our most LUXURIOUS LAKEVIEW HOME, sleeps 12 guests and is just across the street from the lake. It is a short walk/drive to the boat ramp & marina. This home is located in the highly desired Sugarloaf community of Lakehead. It features 3 large bedrooms & 3 baths plus a large game room with pool table.

The upper floor is an expansive gathering space that features a large kitchen with fine wood cabinets, granite counter tops and brand name appliances. You will be cooking in style at Retreat 7 and will enjoy the large island and additional bar counter that flows into the main living area.
The "open" living area features leather couches, stone fireplace, high wood ceilings and views out to the large deck for entertaining.
Outdoor entertaining space has a large patio table and chairs.
The master bedroom features a king bed, large windows, over sized closet, with an adjoining stone walk in shower. Down the hall is a 2nd bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath that sits across the hall. Off the kitchen is a laundry room with a large washer and dryer.
Downstairs, you quickly see the spacious lower level featuring a large game room with pool and card tables, a great social area and media space.
The lower level has a 3rd bedroom with two bunk beds that can sleep at least 4. The Retreat's 3rd full bath is on this level.
This wonderful home is a short walk/drive to the lake, marina and boat ramp....with views of the lake (dependent on water level).
Good Parking for one boat on a flat surface and space for multiple cars and trucks on a sloped driveway.

Summary: The property is even more impressive in person than in the photos. It's well-maintained and spotless. It offers a fully equipped kitchen, a wide selection of board games for both kids and adults, and is perfect for 2-3 families. I will definitely return and highly recommend it to others.

Summary: **Great:** - Conveniently close to the lake, just a short walk away. - Nice separation of space, with the kids' area downstairs and adults' upstairs. - Excellent VRBO management with clear communication and instructions. - Clean and well-maintained appliances. - Beautiful deck space for relaxing. **Okay:** - The downstairs area gets much cooler than upstairs when the AC is on, so consider bringing an extra blanket for the kids. - There's a somewhat eccentric neighbor next door who’s very enthusiastic about the deer. We simply ignored it, and it wasn’t an issue. - Deer frequently visit the yard, which could be a fun experience or a minor nuisance, depending on your perspective. **Minor Considerations:** *(I hesitate to even call these downsides since our stay was absolutely great, and there's nothing the owners or management can change, but these might be helpful to know.)* - The house is located at the corner of a fork in the road, which makes pulling in a bit different. - The steep driveway could be challenging if you're bringing a boat and trying to park up front. - No Verizon cell reception at the house, although you can get a signal just a couple of minutes down the road. - No yard for pets to roam around but it’s a really nice walk to the water, which we did quite often. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to others. Thank you, Lori!

Summary: This was our 40th Anniversary trip to Lake Shasta. We have done lots of Houseboat rentals and house rentals over the years. We have rented this specific house 10-12 times. This years experience was exceptional. Shasta Lakeshore Resorts does an amazing job making sure the house is spotless clean and their communication prior to your arrival, during your stay and after you check out, is top notch. We will rent from them for every trip from this point forward. This was our second experience with them and this year was phenomenal. They care about you and your family experience and making your memories. Thank you Lori for being so awesome helping us with our every need.

Summary: We loved this property. The kitchen was to die for. We had some fabulous meals cooked in it. Everything was well stocked. Stairs were hard for older family, maybe get the elevator running again. Holes in fence need to be fixed. A suggestion of a 4 foot fence between neighbors part of yard and your house, would be helpful for others who bring dogs. Overall the experience was AMAZING, location is PERFECT. I would stay again and again.
