Summary: A lovely place to stay. Great location. Lovely sitting room. Lovely kitchen. Great views. There were 5 of us single ladies so 2 had to share. The room with 2 single beds had no room to move around and had no storage. The other room was bunk beds with no storage. The 2 double rooms were lovely. When running the bath you can’t use any other water in the property. Couldn’t find a hairdryer in the property. Couldn’t work the TV in the sitting room. Sky box seemed to be disconnected. Was told to empty bins in padlocked bins in car park but had no key. Contacted the host over the weekend but had no reply.

Summary: Lovely property ,well equipped and beautifully situated, enjoyed by all the family. One problem was the TV ,a note in the cupboard downstairs indicated that it was not working and we could not make BBC appear in the main living room

Summary: We loved this property and the town of Aldeburgh as a whole - lots of fresh fish to be had, and many lovely stores and coffee shops, all in easy walking distance. The view from the upper floor living area was amazing, we sat in front of it every night watching the waves and walked on the beach every day. We had some issues getting access to the key - the key lock up was a bit finicky, but we eventually figured it out, and so pretty minor concern, so overall, it was a great experience. We would definitely stay again.

Summary: The house is spacious, stylish and comfortable. The sitting room has spectacular views of the beach and the sea. As well as being near the beach, it is only a short walk to the high street with several pubs, restaurants and shops. We had a wonderful few days and I would be very happy to stay in this property again.

Summary: Our second visit to Oakley House .. as always the location is superb and meets everyone’s needs. Our only problem this year was the very bad smell coming from the bathroom drains, the owner was contacted and was very prompt in sending out the maintenance team .. unfortunately this did not alleviate the problem so I think it needs further inspection .. also following the recent outside redecoration (which does look superb) we were unable to open the bathroom windows to ease the smell of the drains. The cleaning team were also advised of the problem as we were vacating. I would still recommend this property to friends just need to address drainage concerns.

Summary: Great location, central to everything and beautiful views from the property. It has everything you need. Only improvement would be an oven - the Aga is gorgeous but very difficult to use to cook. All lovely otherwise.
