Villa has 4 bedrooms, 1 with an en- suite shower room, (2 double, 1 twin, 1full size bunk) & a family bathroom. There is a large lounge with a dining table and comfortable settees. It has Satellite television; DVD player, radio/CD player, Sony PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii. A large fully equipped kitchen contains a microwave, dishwasher, electric oven/hob, washing machine and fridge freezer. Electricity is included in the price. The property is all on one level and has wheelchair access. There is parking inside the gates for 2 cars. The large private 10x5m swimming pool with Roman steps is in a beautiful garden & is surrounded with non-slip tiles. The lounge opens out onto the shaded sun terrace containing a dining table and barbecue & overlooks the pool. The nearby lanes allow walking through the Olive and almond groves with beautiful views of the Sierra Tejada mountains, distant mountain villages & the turquoise waters of Lake Vinuela. Good restaurants.
Days out and areas of interest: Nerja Caves, Nerja town, Burriana beach, sea water sports and restaurants 40 minutes. Calletta Marina 20 minutes. Granada Alhambra Palace 90 minutes. Hot Springs bathing at Alhama de Granada 40 minutes. The cities of Malaga and Granada will provide a most pleasant and rewarding day out, as well as Marbella, Puerto Banus, Torremolinos and Fuegirola.
There are markets all around the area on most days.
The Sierra Nevada Ski resort is two hours away, this is a fantastic day out during the winter period. You can spend the day skiing, and many other snow sports. There are restaurants and shops in the snow covered village and cabin lifts which will take you up the skiing areas, even if you do not ski the sights will be unforgettable. You can then return to the warmth of the coast on your way home and watch the sunset from outside a beach restaurant.
Local area: The local villages of Puente Don Manuel, La Vinuela, Alcaucin, Los Romanes, are all friendly with small bars where you will receive a warm reception from the locals.

Torre Del Mar is the nearest beach Town Resort and is still very much a Spanish environment, the shops are interesting and well stocked. they are set back from the beach promenade which provides safe bathing in the day with many local restaurants and a unique family atmosphere of a night, with many strolling along until 2am in the cool of the evening. This unspoilt part of the coast is a firm favourite with residents and visitors.
Local Activities: Lake Vinuela has many attractions, there are two excellent restaurants with fantastic views. Permissible water sports include swimming, sailing, fishing, canoes, windsurfing. Other activities to be found locally are mountain biking, horse riding, bird watching and hiking. There are a couple of local Golf courses Bavaria Golf 15 minutes drive, and Club Anoretta 25 minutes drive.

Summary: We were a party of 4 adults and 3 children. This property was wonderful, A well appointed kitchen and amazing views out over the valley. The outdoor area is lovely with plenty of choice for seating areas and a great pool. We used the BBQ several times and the undercover table was where we spent most of our evenings. A car is essential. We used this villa as a base to visit Granada, Malaga, and much more. We had a great holiday here and every morning as I stepped out the door of the villa the view took my breath away, some fantastic sunsets were viewed from the roof top villa. We all loved Villa Francis.

Summary: Wonderful holiday in a very relaxing villa. Easy parking right outside, lovely well maintained grounds with lemon trees and beautiful sun trap swimming Pool. Stunning roof top terrace with views. Villa well equipped with everything and it was very good for a group holiday. Shops and restaurants close by. Great place.

Summary: it's fab to be back for a third year we love coming back to villa Francis it's like home from home, clean and well maintained as always. The manager phoned me on arrival to let us know the internet was not working he had informed the company and it would be back on by Monday and it was the kids were back on line that morning. Villa Francis is a must once you've stayed you will want to return.

Summary: Just back from 5 days in this beautiful villa. The villa is everything anyone could want. Furnished to a very high standard and very palatial. The pool area is stunning with plenty of sunbeds for all, even went swimming!! The view is something that takes my breath away, day and night. I would highly recommend this to all. Summary: absolute fab holiday worth every penny .villa was immaculate .with plenty of space .rooms were very big so you were not on top of 1 another .there was clean linen and towels .the pool area was very spacious an the pool was lovely and big .there was plenty of information on hand to cater for all your needs .will be recomending this villa to all peeps i know xxx

Summary: property was immacuatly clean with plenty of clean linen and towels on hand .there was plenty of welcoming leaflets with listings for all your local reasaurants and local shops as well as places to go .there was also phone no.s on hand in case you needed anything or in case of any emergencies .the pool area and barbecue area was fantastic an big your every needs were catered for.they also catered for children with games consoles and games .it was a villa i have recommended to my family and friends and will also be going bk to myself .its well worth it so give it a go xxx

Summary: This is the second time we have stayed at Villa Frances, we have stayed at three other villas in the area and to be honest none compare. It feels like your own home in the sun. The pool is outstanding and the kitchen is fantastic. If you want peace and quiet this is for you, you are also only a short drive from the beach and shops. Well worth a try. Will definitely be returning x

Summary: Our fourth year to this fantastic villa. It really is all you could wish for. It takes my breath away on arrival. It's always spotless, and so spacious and well equipped. The pool and terrace are all the website describe. To sit on the terrace at night with a Bacardi and coke and see the lights twinkling from the mountains is sheer heaven. The peace and quiet is unbelievable. A 10 minute walk takes you down to the local village, which has shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this villa to everyone.
