Summary: We travel each year with a group of friends to enjoy escaping the city. Silverwood Lodge was possibly the best country/ mountain accomodation we have booked in many years. The photographs do not lie! Bedrooms are spacious and well appointed, bathrooms are spotless and the kitchen provides all necessary utensils and appliances. This was a delightful home away from home that I would happily recommend .

Summary: Cottage was exactly like online pics. Location amongst trees was fabulous. Quiet location. Strange though that there were so few animals about. Only slight issue was the 3 steps at entry. kitchen and main toilet. Otherwise happy to recommend and come back

Summary: We wanted relaxing, easy and comfortable accommodation to celebrate my mothers 60th and this home was perfect. It exceeded our expectations with ample room for children to play and great facilities for entertaining. LOVED the elevated kitchen that overlooked the living area. We had a few children stay with us and they loved walking the grounds, spotting all the birds and animals. The home was also close to the Gus Beutel Lookout, a perfect spot for a picnic and walk in the forest! Thank you for the lovely accommodation, wouldn't hesitate to recommend!!

Summary: This is the perfect retreat - tree change!! It is central to a few local towns and a short drive to Toowoomba. There is a café stroke restaurant on site and the most advising little café called ‘Emeraude’ at Hampton, only five minutes away. The website depicts the house perfectly - modern and quality furnishings, fittings and appliances throughout the home. Bedrooms a roomy and airy. The large glass windows/sliding doors open out to a private vista of trees. Then of course, there is the fireplace which adds ambience to the winter days. The undercover car port just outside the front door ensures you remain dry should it be raining. I could go on, but I recommend you see first hand how this home is the perfect getaway for both short and long holidays. We are certainly going to return!!

Summary: The photos are true to what the property looks like. It has a leafy outlook and we were able to spot a lot of birds from the house - even though it was winter. The kitchen is fairly well appointed but has no dishwasher. The fireplace had some issues and possibly needs some maintenance attention - although this could have been down to damp logs. We didn't use the sauna so I can't comment on that feature. On the plus side (and there are quite a few), the living space is a generous size and the deck is too. If it hadn't been winter, we'd probably have eaten out there but the view from the dining table made up for that. The bedrooms are a comfortable size, as are the bathrooms and the showers have good water pressure. Oh, there is a no shoe policy in the house but the carpets were super comfy so it wasn't a problem for any of us. The property suited our needs nicely - we were after a place where we could unplug and reconnect with our teenagers. It's close to a couple of really easy bush walking tracks if that's your thing but it's a comfortable place to kick back and read a book if that's more your style. Overall, we'd return to this property.
