Beautifully furnished, with huge comfortable double vi-spring beds, both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, seperate cloakroom The whole property is free standing and has a fully equipped handmade smallbone natural wood kitchen, equipped with a large Lacanche range cooker, meile dishwasher and large Smeg fridge and nearly all a cook could need. The delightful lounge has a smart TV and a woodburner , large antique pine dining table and a mural of the estate along the entire back wall, french doors lead out to your own large paved terrace partly shaded with vines and wisteria, sun beds , teak table and chairs and a Webber barbecue, the lawns flow down to 12 acres of lakes to stroll around, or a fifteen minute stroll up the lane will take you to a lovely country inn. Many National Trust properties in the area and of course Sissinghurst Gardens and Great Dixter are 10 minutes away, all the delights of Kent and Sussex to explore.

Summary: The Oak Barn at Waters End is absolutely wonderful and set in beautiful grounds, ideal for a quiet “get away from it all” holiday/short break, the only noise coming from the birds and wildlife. Maurice and Jill along with Lily the dog make you feel very welcome. A lovely cream tea awaited us on arrival. The property is spacious, clean and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Waters End is ideally situated to visit many gardens, historic properties, RAF museums and also the coast. Would thoroughly recommend a stay in the Oak Barn, you will not find a better property or location.

Summary: Well what can we say? What a fantastic place to stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the oak barn from the moment we arrived to the day we left.....in fact we didn’t want to leave! We were treated to a beautiful afternoon tea on arrival that really hit the spot after a long journey. The barn is beautiful and was spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. It really is a wonderful place and we will be back in the future I am sure. Thank you!

Summary: I’ve never slept in such a large bed, I felt a bit like Alice in wonderland. The property was perfect and the grounds were lovely to walk around. Lovely sounds of wildlife totally idyllic. We had a lovely week despite the weather not on being on our side. There was plenty to do and the owners were very welcoming and friendly, not to mention the wonderful tea and cake and cream scones on our arrival which was very much appreciated.

Summary: Jill went out of her way to welcome us and even though we couldn't stay in the original accommodation we booked (due to boiler failure) it didn't impact on our stay. Would definitely recommend to others.

Summary: Dispute The Beast from the East we had a wonderful stay the cottage was snug warm and homely. Sitting by the wood burner watching the snow falling was a real escape from it all. The acres of land were a snowy wonderland for both us and our dog. A beautiful cottage with everything you could ask for.

Summary: Fantastic location, very quiet. The house was beautifully clean and the welcoming home baked sourdough bread and cakes were greatly appreciated and delicious. The owners Jill and Maurice were most welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make us feel weans enhance our stay. The grounds were beautiful and both our dogs enjoyed the walks from the back door. Perfect stay!
