Margot Hill is first and foremost a wedding venue however we do not book weddings and house rentals at the same time. Similarly, because we primarily are a wedding venue, we do not allow for private parties, small gatherings, weddings, private events or any sorts to happen from the rental of the house. Any such event must go through Margot Hill, priced and approved accordingly.
3,500 square foot, custom home with luxury finishes that sits on 40 private acres. The property boasts a gated entrance for impeccable privacy, lush meadows, a private lake stocked with fish, wooded landscape, and a resort style pool. Perfect for weekend getaways or family gatherings. As a one story, custom home, the layout of our listing is accessible for all parties. Private, separate bedrooms and en-suites provide privacy and personal space to our guests, while the large common areas and gorgeous outdoor spaces encourage social gatherings. We are located just minutes from Cedar Creek Lake. We also provide easy and quick access to several quaint East Texas towns and Canton First Monday Trade Days.

Summary: The property was beautiful. The house was very well maintained, modern and clean. The pool was well kept and was a great addition (and must have) for our family vacation. The owner was very kind, helpful and was extremely responsive to all of our questions. We had originally booked for one week and extended by an additional week once we were there. It was a the perfect getaway during COVID. We will definitely come back to stay again.

Summary: We really enjoyed getting away for the long weekend over the 4th. Had fun fishing, riding bikes, swimming, etc. Great home with the amenities accurately described. Owner was friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would love to come back some time.

Summary: Great property with Great entertainment. Enjoyed the pool, plenty of fishing and the lawn games. This house is on the same property as a wedding venue so you may want to verify if there will be a wedding during your stay. It is listed as a 4 bedroom but there are only 3. The 4th room is a room that has a queen sofa bed. You walk through this room to get to another bedroom.
