Summary: Such a beautiful lake, the 4th largest in Texas. The property is right on the lake. Spacious lawns offer tranquility. Wonderful lanes and streets for walks or bike rides. Lots of room for our 5 family members to hang out. Plenty of amenities for a large group. The local restaurants are better than expected for a small town. Pretty special place. We definitely tagged this one as a "return place "

Summary: We have been coming here now 7 out of the last 8 years for the 4th of July. Canโ€™t express how much we love it here, the house is right on the water and able to walk right in. The yard is always kept up and the trees provide great shade during the day. We have been out here with anywhere from 4-10 people and never felt crowded. Jon is always very attentive and deals with anything that comes up very quickly. We highly recommend staying at the Mallard Mist!!

Summary: This place was truly amazing next to the lake. The home was clean, every needed was there, towels dish cloths, dishes were well stocked as well as cookware. The children really loved it because they could swim in the lake everyday. Our host was nice and explained everything we needed to know. We decided that we would love to come back another time. I recommend this rental to anyone wanting to stay on the lake.

Summary: My husband and his two long time friends stayed in this wonderful house for a โ€œguysโ€ fishing and golf trip. They had only positive things to say about the house and its awesome patio view of the lake. They will gladly stay there again, and Iโ€™m considering a girls trip there as well. They recommend it highly.
