Summary: The Stables deserves a gold medal in every respect. Everything, from the level and quality of communication to the quality of the property, not to mention the views of the Teifi valley, are superb. The level of equipment is superb (especially for keen cooks) and there's a great selection of books and games for rainy days. The hosts are obviously generous folk. The house is well heated and the underfloor heating in the bathrooms is a real touch of luxury. Comfy beds too. You can tell that The Stables is a labour of love. .. it is manifest everywhere. We'll be back...no doubt.

Summary: We had a wonderful week’s stay at Catherine and Craig’s beautiful house. The property is just as stunning as it looks in the photos, the views and sense of space, peace and calm were amazing and the check in / check out process / communication could not have been easier. We were a family of 4 with x2 toddlers and we had a wonderful week enjoying the unspoiled beaches and costal walks. Will be back!

Summary: The Sables is the nicest holiday home we have stayed in. It’s a beautiful, comfortable stylish house just perfect for relaxing in after a day of exploring the Welsh coast. We can not recommend this property highly enough. The owners were only ever an email away prior to and during our stay, very quick to respond and always helpful. They gave us such great local knowledge and recommendations prior to arrival, so we were able to pick beaches, cafes and restaurants knowing they were going to be good. Thank you, it was simply wonderful.

Summary: We had a great stay at the Stables which was ideally located for exploring the surrounding area. The plus for us was the fact that the property had a downstairs bedroom which was very convenient. Also the house was very well equipped. The restaurants that Catherine and Craig recommended were very good and we especially liked The Shed and Castell Malgwyn. Overall a great time was had by all.

Summary: We have just stayed at The Stables and had a wonderful restful break. The pictures of the house looked beautiful but it is actually stunning in reality. Every detail has been carefully considered and the house has been tastefully decorated in a stylish and luxurious manner. It is a peaceful location and so feels like a perfect hideaway and yet the views and location are perfect. We visited several beaches nearby - really stunning beaches and so under-rated. There is something for everyone - great recommendations on local restaurants and locations. We tried several of them and were not disappointed. Catherine And Craig are extremely helpful and make you feel welcome even before you step through the door. Don't be put off by distance - everything is within easy reach and if you don't fancy driving, the town nearby has everything. Recommend a Tesco delivery for ease. We are a family of 4 and my children are 13 and 15 and they loved it too. The house is perfect for families and/or couples as it is spacious yet has a wonderfully cosy feel to it. We highly rate this house and recommend you visit - you will love it!

Summary: We stayed at the Stables for 10 days. Everything about our stay was just perfect - from our first interaction with the owners on booking and on throughout our holiday. The house is perfect - certainly a home from home with everything thought of. There is an amazing open plan living area with a huge glass wall overlooking the valley and a fully stocked 'dream' kitchen with everything you could think of. The house has all practicalities too for a family holiday with a utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and large drying rack. The bedrooms are huge with spacious en-suites and a roll top freestanding claw bath in one. There was a cosy looking fireplace and under floor heating in all the bathrooms. Luckily the weather was such that we didn't need either. Great Wi-Fi and a Netflix subscription kept us entertained in the evenings too. We had amazing days out at the local beaches: Mwnt, Penbryn & Llangrannog and the small harbour town of New Quay, which inspired Dylan Thomas' "Under Milk Wood". We saw dolphins from the harbour wall. Further afield were the Dolaucothi Gold Mines and loads of coastal walks. This is a beautiful house to explore a beautiful area - enjoy !!

Summary: Having looked at the pictures before we arrived I thought it looked beautiful but I can honestly say the pictures still don't show how stunning this property and the views are. We stayed with 2 boys aged 9 and 11 and they equally loved it, always hanging over the garden wall talking to the sheep, playing football and rolling down the hill! So much attention to detail, really high end furnishings and fixtures and lovely touches on arrrival. Beautiful patio where we sat out till late enjoying the moonlit views. Owners always easy to contact for tips on where to go etc. We went to Mwent beach and New quay, all in easy reach, also took the boys mountain biking at Brechfa which was great and the bikes felt secure in the shed in the garden. This place really stood out amongst others when looking for our holiday home and is definitely the best rental we've ever stayed in from home away!! We will be back with our friends - loved it.

Summary: We’ve had a wonderful relaxing stay at Catherine and Craig’s house. After a brilliant previous experience staying in their apartment in Edinburgh we were really excited to be one of their first guests to try their newest venture. When we arrived at the Stables we were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to find given their instructions. The Stables was so much bigger than we expected as we’d only seen a few photos prior to arrival. The house is really stylish and you can see they’ve thought about making it as child safe as they could without spoiling the look. The Stables has some beautiful views and is located in an idyllic spot overlooking the fields. This was our first visit to Wales so they sent us some wonderful recommendations of beaches and restaurants to visit. We cycled into Newcastle Emlyn the local town, it was so lovely, we met some really friendly people there and would highly recommend some of the little shops. As with our past experience they were always at hand for any questions we had. This house is ideal for family holidays or couples wanting to relax together. We hope to go back in the Autumn to use the amazing wood burner or wrap up outside with the fire pit. Thanks again Catherine and Craig.
