This beautiful lake front home with a spacious private beach in the backyard and lake Erie views is a great gathering place for your family vacation! Just steps from the town of Vermilion where you will find charming shops and restaurants including the famous 5-star restaurant Chez Francois! Only a short drive to Cedar Point or downtown Cleveland makes for a great location to see any local sights!
Enjoy the outdoors, equipped with lake toys (kayaks, paddle board, sand toys and more) patio furniture, fire-pit, basketball hoop and grill... or entertain inside with an open loft media/game room that includes a pool table, ping pong, air hockey and arcade games. The spacious open kitchen is great for entertaining while still enjoying the lake views. A 2-car garage for covered parking at the end of a dead-end street creates a private and quiet getaway experience.
Completely renovated in 2016, this home was exclusively a private residence until 2022. There are six bedrooms total. The master is on the first floor with a king bed, twin trundle bed and private bath. Another full bath resides on the first floor and the two remaining bathrooms are on the 2nd floor with the 5 additional bedrooms. The upstairs sectional sofa has a queen pull-out bed.

Summary: This property was amazing and wonderful for my family. My mom, 96 years old, was able to navigate the house and walk out to the beach. My grandchildren enjoyed the sand, swimming and fishing. Vermilion is a quaint town with shops and restaurants for enjoyment. The owner responded to my questions in a timely manner and was always pleasant and helpful.

Summary: Loved this house for our large family vacation. Plenty of space for everyone. Clean, well furnished, and nice details. We spent most of our time staring at Lake Erie, on the private beach or under the shade of the large backyard trees. Plenty of good lawn chairs. Activities for all ages. Indoor games (arcade, pool, ping pong) and a well equipped shed with floats of all sorts, paddle board, and corn hole. Walking distance to town. We dined at good restaurants including Touché, Pavilion, and Te’Kila. Papa Joes carry out pizza and pies. Old Prague bar and live music. And several stops to Romp’s Dairy Dock. If you want to step it up, Touché is our favorite. For breakfast, we liked The Nest and Granny Joes.

Summary: This house was perfect for our family. Probably the best house for our group of 14 that we have ever rented. Location was excellent with an easily accessible private beach - unusual for Vermilion - and easy walk into town. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles. Kitchen was great with two ovens and a second refrigerator in the garage. We would definitely rent again for next family get-away to Vermilion. Oh also- easy drive to Cedar Point and ferries to islands and easy drive to Rock Hall and Cleveland sirport. Stellar house!

Summary: We enjoyed our family gathering at this amazing beach property! The home is clean, tastefully decorated and offers plenty of space from the kitchen to the living area to the upstairs loft. The beach provided so much fun and relaxation and the water was refreshing for the warm August days. Kids and adults enjoyed the paddle board, kayak, lily pad and having life jackets available from the shed was a huge plus. Short walk to the downtown area of Vermilion with shopping, the lighthouse, ice cream and restaurants. Such a fun place to stay!!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the lake house immensely. The grandkids played on the beach front, buried themselves in the sand and some went swimming. We had a nice bonfire on our last night, with s’mores for the kids, sparklers, and good family time. The house was very clean and spacious. Great time for all!

Summary: We filled the house with about 18 people and enjoyed a quiet winter reunion. The house was great. The waterfront was too. And the walk into town was nice as well. Everything worked great. The air hockey, billiards and ping pong were major hits with all the kids. A few larger pots and pans would be good to accommodate serious cooking for a full house, but we were ok. Great rental.
