Casa Ideal: Large (128 sqm/1380 sqf) penthouse in Las Colinas, Costa Esuri with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully remodeled kitchen and wraparound terrace.
Our exclusive 3rd-floor penthouse offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one of them an en-suite with bath tub), and a large terrace with stunning views of the Guadiana River and Portugal skyline, which is also the perfect place for enjoying the sun, your morning cafe or evening cocktail. The dining room and lounge can easily and comfortably accommodate 6 people. The lounge is furnished with a 55” smart television perfect for streaming (on free Wi-Fi) your favorite programs on Netflix, provided. The kitchen is newly remodeled with granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances including a dishwasher and built-in oven. The penthouse opens to the terrace through 4 doors. We do have both heat and aircon, but because we sit high atop Las Colinas (“The Hills”), the breezes are amazing and refreshing on a hot summer day. The many south-facing windows and doors invite warming sunlight in the winter months. No need to drag your luggage up the stairs, as Casa Ideal is a flat situated on the 3rd floor, with direct lift (elevator) access. A dedicated parking space is included in the gated parking area and additional parking on the street is available.
Casa Ideal is perfectly located for enjoyment of an abundance of options, including golf, plentiful beaches, and cultural events in the city center, and is just a quick 5-minute drive to Portugal. If you enjoy golf, there are ample golf courses between Spain and Portugal. If the beach is more your thing, then you will find Isla Canela just a short 15-minute drive away. The City Center of Ayamonte is a 10-minute drive and full of shopping and restaurants. Casa Ideal is also a great base camp for exploring more of Spain’s Costa De La Luz and taking in Flamenco dance and tapas in Seville.

Summary: We spent two weeks in August and the experience was very good. The house is very well equipped with everything needed for a nice stay. The owners were always online to solve any doubt or issue.

Summary: Lovely apartment, beautiful place, well equipped , had everything we needed and supported by owners. However we were surprised to find it was an isolated location with long distance views and half completed adjacent urbanisation and clearly issues on the now defunct brown golf course. As a base to tour great but lacking local facilities as now just a local bar and shop that was a mile away. Some great places to visit in area.

Summary: What a wonderful stay we had in Ayamonte! This place had everything and more! Fully equipped kitchen with great appliances. The decor made you feel at home the moment you walked in the door. We spent just over a week with 6 adults and cannot wait to bring our kids back for another visit. We golfed in Portugal, walked the beaches in Ayamonte (Isla Canela) and spent many evenings in the Plazas in Downtown Ayamonte. Pete and Jill Wood were an absolute pleasure and responsive the few times we needed them for information. Let me not forget the view from the terrace was amazing! We will definitely be back!

Summary: A great apartment, extremely well furnished and equipped with lovely views over the river towards Portugal. Probably the best equipped holiday apartment we ever stayed in. Clean and everything there we needed for a perfect holiday. Ayamonte is beautiful with a great choice of restaurants and shops. A lovely relaxing holiday in an unspoiled and very Spanish part of Spain. It is the perfect spot to explore Portugal too, only a short drive away. (15 min.) Jill & Peter, the hosts prepared everything and made sure that we were looked after by Maryanne & Peter. Nice to have a privat contact rather than an agency. Great support !!! We stayed with our kids for 3 weeks and we will be back for sure. Jill asked us during our stay, if there is anything missing which was very sweet. But....???????? Casa Ideal is the the ideal place to be!!
