Sugar Cane Ridge No 9 is a newly built, well-appointed, modern Caribbean villa, situated in the exclusive Royal Westmoreland Golf Resort in Barbados. The villa has been beautifully furnished by Archers Hall Design Centre in a traditional coastal theme to create a wonderful, luxurious second home available for rental by families or smaller groups. The split level design overlooks the Royal Westmorland Golf Resort and has stunning ocean views from the upper terrace. The villa has four bedrooms, two of which are ensuite and a further two bedrooms with a shared bathroom.
The en suite master bedroom and second bedroom both open onto the plunge pool deck, which is located on the lower level of the villa. The pool deck is a perfect place to unwind and perhaps take in a drink or two whilst enjoying the views of Royal Westmoreland’s spectacular golf course and the Caribbean Sea beyond. The second bedroom shares a bathroom with the equally sized bedroom 4.
The ensuite third bedroom is located on the ground level off the main entrance which leads up to the main living level. All the bedrooms have air conditioning and the master bedroom enjoys a flat screen TV and Sonos sound system.
The upper level is made up of open plan living and dining areas with double sliding doors leading out to a spacious covered terrace. The terrace has room for 8 guests dining alfresco with an additional relaxed seating area. The open plan living area also benefits from air conditioning, flat screen tv and a Sonos surround sound system.
The modern kitchen is well-equipped with Miele appliances and provides everything needed and more to make your holiday relaxed and enjoyable. Of course, housekeeping is included five days a week to make your stay even more enjoyable.

Summary: We have been going to Barbados for a number of years and have fallen in love with the island. The people are the friendliest you'll meet anywhere, the climate is perfect and the beeches are stunning… the rum punches aren't bad too! Sugar Cane Ridge 9 is probably the best accommodation we have stayed in on the Island and was the perfect base for our holiday… it was a real home from home. Located in the Royal Westmoreland estate half a mile inland from the west coast, the villa commands stunning views over the championship golf course and down to the sea. It's elevated position provides gentle cooling breezes which we found very welcome after a day on the beach. The villa itself is a superbly equipped and had everything we needed and much more. The bedrooms are all of a good size with large, extremely comfortable beds… we all slept so well! There are three bathrooms in total, two en-suite and one shared. The huge open plan kitchen/dining/living area is beautifully fitted out in a contemporary style and opens out on to a large balcony with a dinning table and sofas, where we spent many an evening. The villa was regularly serviced by the house maid during our stay and was kept immaculately clean. Outside are some really comfy sun loungers around a private pool, which was great for cooling off in... and for floating on with an ice cold beer! Being part of the Royal Westmoreland estate, we had access to all their facilities including the clubhouse, pools, spa area and gym. Our Guest Pass also gave us access to the Mullins Beach Club which we used on a daily basis. This entitles you to free loungers and parasols... and attentive beach service from the great bar staff at Mullins Beach bar. Holetown is just a short trip away where there are various bars and restaurants along with the Lime Grove Shopping Mall with it's duty free shopping. We will definitely be going back to Sugar Cane Ridge 9 and have no hesitation in recommending it… as long as you don't book the dates we want!!
