Summary: Owner Carmel met us at the house, showed us around, and explained how things worked. Very helpful. The photos do not do justice to this house. Rooms are all very bright and large. The huge kitchen/living area is so inviting. We spent the majority of our time here. Windows look out onto Clew Bay, across to Achill Island, and up the green hill beside the house. The hill is usually inhabited by sheep - very picturesque. This house is very well built, comfortable for all the visitors and family we had stay with us. Being near the top of the hill gives you beautiful views all around. A very nice beach, which you can see from living room windows, is not even 5 minutes away! Local people are always using it, plus surfers, and we were here in October! We made great use of the peat fireplace, which also helped to make us feel at home. We would love to stay here again. A 20-minute walk will take you into Louisburgh, which has 2 pubs (we especially enjoyed McNamara's), and a grocery store that is open late.

Summary: Really spacious home. Well maintained . All bedrooms en-suite. Pictures don’t do the house justice. Amazing views Great location beside a nice beach.
