4 Bedroom House in Thompson Square - Bunker Hill, Boston

We have a single family home on a gas lit street with 4 bedrooms and three full baths and one half bath. The main floor has a brand new kitchen with breakfast bar and deck, a half bath and a family room. The second floor has three bedrooms and a bathroom with tub and shower. Bedroom 1: 2 full size beds, bedroom 2: one full size bed and bedroom 3: a crib. The top floor is a master suite bedroom with a king size bed, full size bathroom and deck. We also have an extra bonus playroom/guest space on the lower level that walks out to the back yard. This space has a pull out pottery barn couch and full bath. We re walking distance to all of Charlestown and the North End. This house was renovated and a full addition was just completed. We don't accept large parties that are throwing any type of party in our home. All holiday weekends are an additional $200/night.

Summary: This is a lovely house in an excellent location. It has all the comforts of home and is super family friendly. Central location made it easy to get around in Boston while sightseeing. Host is kind and responsive and beds are comfy. Would absolutely stay again! Thank you for having my family!

Summary: I have been renting VRBO for over a decade and this home is on my Top 3 list. It feels like home the minute you walk in the door. The first floor furniture is comfy and set up perfectly to watch TV. The kitchen is great with very high end appliances and well stocked. The open floor plan is great! The basement is large with a comfy couch and big tv. We didn’t have need for the basement even though it has a full bath. . . . We could have invited another family member or two bc the house is HUGE but we won’t tell them they missed out! Now for the 2nd and 3rd floors!! The rooms make you feel at home and welcomed. Beds are very comfy and cozy. My mother in law and 2 boys (young adults) were very happy in the 2 bedrooms!! The bathroom was stocked and towels were readily available. The master suite (it is not just a bedroom) was my retreat!! The TV, bed, shower and overall ambiance of the room gave me the escape I needed from the family. The Peloton did judge me bc I was happier drinking wine then doing a class with Tunde! The Roku TV was great and we easily accessed it with our subscriptions. The WiFi supported over 5 devices with no issues at all. The services provided by DoorDash/Grubhub/ Instacart are well coordinated and no one had a hard time finding the house. Uber was always quick to arrive too! Walking any where is a breeze. Location is wonderful if you are looking to do the Freedom Trail or want to spend the day eating in the North End! Carey was a saint dealing with my NEVER ending questions!! She checked in daily with me which gave us a sense of security being somewhere new. I always knew there was a contact just a text away. I highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a great home to see all Boston has to offer!!!

Summary: The location of the house is perfect. We did not have a car but had no issues getting where we wanted to go. The house is exactly as described and was spotless on our arrival. The owner is very responsive and helpful. It was a great experience!

Summary: We had an amazing time at this beautiful home! The house and location were perfect for our family get together. We easily travelled into downtown Boston for events, but our favorite family times were actually spent being together in the house. Carey is a wonderful host and very responsive. She even gave us recommendations for dinner locations and hit the mark every time.We couldn’t have asked for more! We hope to return to Boston and stay in this lovely home again in the future - a perfect place to enjoy a beautiful city! Thank you for sharing your home with us, Carey!

Summary: This beautiful home was an absolute gem for our family gathering of adults and teenagers. The house was clean and we felt right at home. It was beautifully decorated, the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed, and the beds/linens were welcoming after a long day of sightseeing! The house is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood with the ferry being just a few blocks away, and the pedestrian bridge to the North End only a 10 minute walk from the house. The homeowner was prompt in answering any questions that we had. Without a doubt, we would stay at this property again!!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend exploring all things Boston! This home is in a great location - we were able to walk to the ferry and get into the downtown area so much faster and cheaper than using an Uber! And lots of room for all of us to have our own space. We definitely would recommend!

Summary: This was an absolute beautiful home as was/is depicted and on a quiet street with access to the Boston ferry just a couple of blocks away. Summary: This is a fabulous basecamp for a Boston trip. Charlestown is a quiet location just outside the city and has so much charm all its own. We were able to bike to the city from this location and walk to many restaurants. Barely needed to use our vehicle. Made one road trip down to Plymouth and Cape Cod from here as well. Carey was awesome with many recommendations and quick to respond if needed. Place is truly a gem. Felt like home.
