Set in a 19th Century Old Whiskey Mill Building, The Maltings blends historic charm with industrial-chic and lies in the heart of Bray, set between the scenic Wicklow Mountains and the busy city centre of Dublin . A large stunning 1600 Sq. Ft 3-bed penthouse apartment set out over 3 floors. The top floor master bedroom has views of the mountains and the sea. There are two double bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which is en-suite. You will find a lovely, spacious lounge with a balcony on the 1st floor and a large 55-inch flat screen TV, as well as high-speed 200mpbs internet connection throughout the apartment. Whilst not reflected in the photos, the dining table can be extended to sit 12 people and there is enough glasses, cutlery and crockery for 12.
This beautiful penthouse apartment in the Old Mill building is an eclectic mix of chic pieces with every modern convenience. The Maltings is located just off Bray main street meaning you are just metres away from lovely shops & restaurants, but it is set back enough that it is very peaceful with lots of privacy. This is a brand newly refurbished property in September 2023, all interiors done by Cooling Design Ltd. There are many things to do in the area. You will find some of the most beautiful walks nearby, as well as golf courses, horse-riding, shopping, historical sites and many more activities.
Getting Around:
A selection of buses and the Dart train service can bring you in all directions throughout the counties of Wicklow and Dublin City Centre. Dublin City is only 30 minutes by Dart and 40 minutes by bus. The train station is a 10 minute walk from the apartment and buses are only a 2 minute walk from the apartment.

Summary: Inside - everything you need for a great stay, comfortable beds, great water pressure, reliable wi-fi, and plenty of room to spread out The location is a great choice. Bray itself has all the services you need in walking distance, terrific connections via mass transit in to Dublin, easy access to a great variety of day trips, and a lovely seafront for morning and evening strolls or a hike up Bray head. Jonathan made our check in/check out process very easy and was easy to communicate with before and during our stay, (including reminding us of the note in the listing that there are a fair number of stairs to navigate, if that is a concern) The only surprises were good ones.

Summary: This unit is a five star Adventure. The pictures can’t begin to portray its true beauty. The location is the best, safe secure and excellent parking. Within a short walk to a grocery store, Starbucks, McDonalds, Bus and Train Station, Fresh Markets and much more. Spend a day or two in the Bray promenade. Fantastic dinning.

Summary: What a cool, well-equipped, luxurious appartment. Our host Jonathan has helped with every question we had and we felt very welcome. Our daughter loved the upstairs bedroom with porthole and lovely bed. Would love to come back!

Summary: This property was exactly as advertised. Jonathan did the best job explaining the entry process. We arrived exhausted after flight, but the Maltings was a warm and inviting space to come in to. The bedrooms, the bathrooms, the kitchen and living rooms were as comfortable as they were beautiful. Jonathan was very helpful and shared so much information from the workings of the apartment, to where to eat and shop in Bray and beyond. It definitely made our vacation that much better knowing that we had a nice place to come back to at the end of the day. Thanks Jonathan!

Summary: This property is an absolute 5 star experience. The owner Jonathan communicated with us before, during, and after our stay to ensure total satisfaction. The apartment is LOVELY. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable and the living room/kitchen space was equipped with every amenity imaginable. The location is fantastic as it is situated in the lovely coastal town of Bray but so accessible to Dublin via the picturesque 35 minute train ride (the trains depart every 5-10 minutes, super convenient). We had the most amazing time!!!

Summary: Excellent property- the best we have stayed in. Interior design and facilities top class. So quiet and peaceful when located so near to town. Arrived late due to delayed ferry crossing with bottle of vino to welcome us. Jonathan, the host, was amazing and continually contacted me to be sure everything was all OK. Return ferry crossing delayed due to weather conditions and Jonathan even dropped off 3 items we had left behind to where we were staying. Could not rate this stay high enough- truly amazing stay and enabled us to catch up with family.
