This country style pine wood log cabin home features four bedrooms, two full baths, and one half bath on 1.80 acres with an adjoining 1.26 acre lot containing a shop with electric service perfect for a motorhome (this is ideal for travelers who need a place to put their motorhome/RV while traveling or have additional guests - At an additional cost you can rent this spot for your other guests which would allow up to 4 more people from the maximum number of house guests if utilizing this option) with access to 11.20 of common area acreage lining the Bogue Chitto River with access to a cemented boat ramp. This home also comes fully furnished, with an outdoor wrap around patio with a barbecue Pit for relaxing outside after a day by the river.
Entering the home, the vaulted ceilings draw your eyes upward towards the stairs with views of the scenery from all levels. The first floor, and main living space features an open concept kitchen, dining area, living room warmed by a propane fireplace and has large open windows being the perfect spot with views to escape the fast paced life. Within the kitchen space there are custom stainless steel cabinets and countertops, full size appliances, oversized large cypress bar top with room for six high top chairs, and scored concrete flooring.
There is also a balcony (on the inside) of each level for relaxing and taking in the “must see” views. Its our favorite part! Specially designed hand carved benches throughout the home .
On the third floor, you will notice how large this open space is for hanging out. The Master bedroom which is located on the second floor, there is custom built in dresser drawers and three medium size closets that span across the room. The room also opens up to the master bathroom where there is a large shower with pebble stoned flooring and two shower heads. Never miss a hot shower with a continuous hot water heater. There is no carpet in any parts the home, only concrete and vinyl wood style flooring to help with easy cleanup. There is also a washer/dryer combo located on the second floor for taking care of your laundry.
Outside there is a wrap around deck that goes about 3/4 of the way around the entire house so that you can easily access most areas around the home.
We invite you to rent our Luxury Style Cabin for a short term period (a minimum of three nights or up to 28 days set as a monthly rate). If you need it for a month there will be additional cleaning fees which can be discussed prior to staying. Summary: This is my second time coming back in the past 6 months. The home is beautiful, spacious, and has plenty of activities. Our favorite is it has its own private beach along the river, and the sand is actually really nice, beach quality. Brittan (the host) is absolutely amazing, and accommodating. Will be back after the winter - 5/5 ⭐️

Summary: Cabin and grounds were outstanding. Plenty of room for everyone with easy access to the river down the road about 100 yards. We have booked the cabin again for next year.

Summary: This property exceeded my expectations. The architecture is absolutely stunning inside and out. Every guest that came with us said the same thing. I’ve never seen a modern style log home built like this before in my life. The house has plenty of space in it, extremely clean. They have their own private beach along the river, and we spent the entire day soaking up the sun. We also were able to cross the street and do a 30 minute tubing trip right back to the beach by the home as the river wraps around the peninsula. Brittan was truly a great host, and wanted us to enjoy her beautiful property. 5/5 stars will be back once or twice a year!

Summary: My family and friends had an absolute blast during Mardi Gras and staying at this beautiful home. We were all able to be together in one place and not be on top of each other. The home is as pictured and the sunsets are beautiful. We will absolutely stay here again.

Summary: Our experience with this property was great. Plenty of amenities and very secluded. The river being so close was nice and there was a dried up creek bed we used as a beach. Loved this house and we will be back in the future! I have the check-in process as 4 stars bc the code to get in was never uploaded to Vrbo I had to reach out to the host and ask for it after we had arrived which delayed us by like 5-10 min which wasn’t a huge deal but I would’ve expected it to be in the app.

Summary: The property was beautiful and roomy. My family enjoyed the interior as well as the large yard for games and fun. I’m addition to a beautiful space, the host provided extra special items such as Germ X, a starter kit with paper towels, dish detergent garbage bags, lighter for the fire pit, etc.. The property was perfect for our vacation. Thanks for a memorable vacation!

Summary: Myself and husband really enjoyed this cabin. Britain is such a sweet host, very easy going and available and friendly. The cabin is near and rustic, loved the fireplace, and very comfortable beds. I do recommend it!!

Summary: The initial entrance walking in is so open and beautiful. I found my quiet space on the second level looking out at nature but going up to the third floor is just so relaxing and its the perfect spot to cuddle up with a book on the rocker. I loved the ability to hang outside on the porch swing while watching the grandkids play outside in the front yard. There is also a small little man made swing set that is so cute and just fits the scenery! As a family we loved walking around the property and the short distance it is to the river. The weathers isn't summer weather yet but we will be back to enjoy the heat and time in the river. The property owner was easily reached with any questions we had about places we were looking for near by so we did appreciate that since we are not completely familiar with the area. This is definitely a place to check out with family or a group of friends because its so spacious and there is just something about nature that makes it relaxing to BBQ and listen to the birds outside while spending time with family. I'm sure summer will be busier by the looks of other camps around but that is what makes this a perfect spot for a fun getaway~ We will be back!! -M & E

Summary: We had a wonderful week at the cabin! Far enough away, but close enough if we needed anything from a store. The cabin is decorated so cute and it was very clean when we arrived. If your looking for relaxation along with numerous activities for all around the property…this is the place:)
