3 Bedroom Villa in Gulluk

A beautifully enhanced and spacious duplex villa which has been successfully rented for the past 10 years with many rentals returning. Please see the reviews .
As it is a small complex then social distancing is possible as each villa has a downstairs front and back terrace as well as a bedroom terrace overlooking the sea. There is also ample sunlounger space with easy access to the beach.
Full sanitisation of the property is available on request.
Coast/Beach
Nearest beach is directly in front of the villa (5 metres) with a shallow sloping sandy beach excellent for all ages but esp children. There is a boutique hotel (Med Inn) just 5 minutes walk away along the Oba promenade and a new bar and restaurant which opened in 2021 serving traditional turkish cusine ealso only a few minutes walk away. In addition there are several small beaches and beach clubs in the Gulluk area that are easily accessible and offer sunbeds, meals and refreshments if you require a change of scenery.
Larger beaches can be found in Gumbet and Bitez, approx 40 min drive or a simple trip on the Dolmus. Water sports are available at these larger locations.
Outside
Shared pool (approx 150 sq m) between 4 villas with lighting in and around the pool area. This has recently been updated in include steps and a rail into the pool for easy access along with an extended tiled areas to provide more private areas for each villa.
6 sun loungers with cushions and 3 parasols are provided for you along with beach towels. There is also a portable BBQ, a dining table and chairs on the terrace to enable you to dine alfresco either at lunchtime or during the evening to enjoy the unforgettable sunsets.
The pool is cleaned and maintained at least 3 times a week in peak season and the garden lawn, plants and shrubs are also maintained by our property Manager.
WiFi is available at no extra charge and is also connected to the TV for a wide selection of UK and foreign channels.
We also have an excellent relationship with our neighbours and if your party exceeds 6 and you would like to consider one of the other villas at the same time then please let us know.
Inside
The villa has an extremely spacious 'open plan' living area and a brand new kitchen (2019). There are 2 large leather sofas, a dining table for 6, 2 fridges , oven and gas hob, dishwasher, CD player, TV and access to TV shows and Movies. There is also a downstairs toilet and a utility room with washing machine.
Upstairs there is a Master double bedroom with a brand new ensuite wetroom (2021) and a terrace overlooking the sea and surrounding bay. Ideal for a quiet peaceful drink in the evening. There is also a Double bedroom and a Twin room which share a main wet room which has also been newly installed (2021).
All bedrooms have air conditioning and mosquito nets.
Accessibility
The villa has not been specifically adapted for wheelchair access but it is on flat ground (i.e. no hills to climb) and no stairs to get into/out of the property. There is a wet room style shower in the downstairs w/c and we have recently added concrete steps into the pool to assist access.

Gulluk is an excellent location for a holiday whether its for a family or a peaceful getaway.There are numerous waterside restaurants and bars to choose from with a range of menus to cater for all tastes.There is a traditional weekly local market (Thursdays) selling fresh local produce at amazing prices. The weather is fantastic most of the year round and from May to October the sea is an ideal place to swim, snorkel, or fish. If you want to go further afield there are historical sites such as Bodrum's Castle of St Peter and the Mausoleum, Ephesus, Pamukkale, or Dalayan's rock tombs and mud baths. Alternatively, sample the delights of Bodrum's Marina's Yacht club restaurant, or browse the large indoor market, designer boutiques, or take the ferry and spend the day on the Greek islands of Kos.

Summary: Property is well furnished and spacious. Location is ideal as it’s right on beach front and walking distance to a small market and cafe with a 5 min taxi ride into Gulluk. Pool is clean and hosts were excellent.

Summary: Wow! We had an excellent stay at Jasmin Villa! I loved the location, right on the beach! I have a mother, who can’t walk too far, so being so close was perfect for her. You can swim in the sea and suntan by the pool instead of the beach. The view from the villa is spectacular! My favorite spot was journaling on the balcony and enjoying the orange sunset. The owner provided a good package with very useful information. I highly recommend this place for a quiet family get together by the sea!

Summary: We had a wonderful vacation in the villa, it is perfectly located, spacious, nicely furnished and clean. Pool area is very cosy, sea is only 2 minutes away and there is a great sunset view from the master bedroom. Mike and Lynne are very helpful and kind, can be reached anytime and provide all the information needed both for the house and the area. All in all, a great vacation and we hope to be back 🙂

Summary: We had a wonderfull two weeks (1-13 August 2020) in the villa of Mike and Lynne😀. We were with our two daughters and also my parents joined for a week. The villa is cozy, decent, functional and well equipped. I loved the dubble refrigerator😃😃😃. I want it in my house as well! There were plenty of towels and beach towels. The kitchen was also well equipped. The contact with Mike and Lynne was very well. They responded very quickly all the time and checked on us when we where at their villa, if everything was ok and if we needed anything. The property manager Levent bey was also very nice and helpfull with everything. I can highly recommend this villa. It felt like home.

Summary: Mike & Lynne was a great host from the first moment we decided to rent the property, Mike was so kind even to buy a brand new filter coffee machine when I asked him if there is one available at the villa. (They are mainly tea drinkers) The villa has great location just a few steps from the beach (which is never crowded) The pool is very clean and quite large to accommodate two families with kids at the same time. The welcoming was flawless. The pool is taken care three times a week. You can access to a local market just by 3 mins walk. You can order many of the small things even by phone. The house is newly renovated and has almost everything you would need. There is WiFi available and its performance is enough for many of the things you would need. We could have extended our stay if I would not have to go back to work. Thanks Mike & Lynne for the great week we had on your villa.

Summary: This villa has it all, beautifully laid out with stunning views. It is very rare to find a property with a pool that is also beach fronted, we searched far and wide for this. Gulluk is a great little resort not too touristy but with some super bars and restaurants a great supermarket and just a £3.00 taxi ride away, there a couple of small local shops for your every day needs.The Oba cafe 2 minutes deserves a mention, very friendly people who with a few hours notice cooked us a fresh bbqued fish dinner for four. We cannot thank the owners Mike and Lynne enough for all the contact and info leading up to our stay and their property manager Levent is always on hand if needed and his bar Cheers is rather good too. Overall we can only say this is a great villa in a very desirable location in witch we had a wonderfull holiday.

Summary: Firstly, many thanks to Mike and Lynne for letting us stay in their lovely villa. This is a truly beautiful setting for a relaxing holiday in Turkey. It is 1 of a block of 4 villas, with a shared pool that fronts the beach and has wonderful views. Whilst there are a couple of restaurants in the local vicinity (including the 5 star Med inn), the many restaurants & bars along the sea front of Gulluk are a mere (& cheap) 5 minute taxi ride away! Bodrum centre is also about 45 minutes away and certainly worth a trip. The apartment itself is very modern, light, airy and spacious. It really is a home from home! We are actually not ones to keep going back to the same place year on year, as we like to try different places…. but I have to say this is an apartment we would definitely consider going back to at some stage in the future. Levent, the Property manager was there to meet us on arrival, and was extremely friendly & helpful. He was always on hand for advice and couldn’t do enough for us while we were there. Alas the final word must go to our hosts…. Mike and Lynne were simply fantastic in their communication, both before, and a couple of times during our stay, so once again, many thanks to you both. Summary: Had a great week. The area grows on you and the people are very friendly. When arriving at night you get the impression you are a long way from things but you quickly find your way around. Taxi service very efficient. Only negative was a lack of welcome pack when arriving late and wanting something to eat.

Summary: Great communication from the owners Mike and Lynn from the very beginning with lots of helpful information about places to eat, bars and taxis. We arrived earlier than check in time but were able to leave our cases at the villa and the manager brought the keys to us when the villa was ready for us. This was so helpful. The villa was lovely, clean and comfortable, the pool was great and the view spectacular. Levent, the manger was always available if we needed anything and kept the pool and surrounding area neat and clean. He's a lovely man. Gulluk is a cheap taxi ride away with bars, we liked May Day, and lots of nice restaurants. Green House was our favourite and the owner Ebor was really friendly. In fact everyone we met couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. In fact I went to the little shop a few minutes away to order water to be delivered and get a few things but I'd forgotten my purse. He said no worries bring it next time you come in. It was the first time he'd met me. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would love to return and would recommend to friends and family
