4 Bedroom House in Quart

The house is near a secondary road that connects the village of Quart (1km) and the city of Girona (5km) and next to a road that directly connects with the ¨via verda¨ (greenway) and some of the most visited peaks for cyclists.
Girona airport is 17 km away. So the location is very convenient to use as a hub.
The house has 4 double bedrooms, living room and dining room, a fully equipped kitchen suitable for eating in, 3 bathrooms, etc. All bedrooms are on the 1st floor. We are equipped with air conditioning, background music in each room, fireplace, three sofas, satellite TV, WIFI internet, etc. There is also a large outdoor terrace.
On the ground floor we can find a large room with space to play table tennis, billiards and "futbolín" or do other activities, and with plenty of space to store cars and bicycles, we even have basic tools for their maintenance and repair, and washing area.
Outside, in the garden (5000 mts2), there is a very private and secure swimming pool (4.5 x 9, depth: 1.20 to 1.90 meters) with a power generator, automatic cleaning, salt water, etc.
The pool has a telescopic cover which allows it to be used also in autumn i in spring.
We also have a swing, barbecue, garden furniture, swing, elastic bed, a basketball hoop and fruit trees.
100 mts from the house there is a greenway that connects Girona and Sant Feliu de Guixols (on the Costa Brava). You are close to some cycling peaks, such as Els Àngels and also can go MTB on Les Gavarres.
Not far from the house, at 1km you can find supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, restaurants, etc. You can even visit a small weekly market every Sunday.

At 5 km there is the city of Girona, especially not to be missed!

Summary: Very nice and spacious house with a huge garden and pool for sports and kids between Girona and Quart. Great for running, hiking and cycling. Lovely and helpful hosts.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this house and our wonderful host, Dolors. She greeted us when we got there, showed us around and gave us some great recommendations of where to shop and places to eat, and was always available to answer questions. The house is wonderful and spacious, with lots of light. We very much enjoyed the pool and the terrace as well. The house is wonderfully located 2 minutes from the town of Quart for easy shopping, and only a few more minutes from Girona, for sightseeing. A very peaceful getaway. We highly recommend it!

Summary: We loved the house and it's location near Girona. The bus to girona stops 400m from the house. The house was very spacious and clean, perfect for a Large group of friends. Communication with the hosts was perfect and they were very friendly!

Summary: Hi, we had a very good stay in this accomodation. A lot of facilities (swimming pool, big garden, pool table, table tennis). The airco was very welcome during the warm days and nights. And the owners where very polite and helpfull.

Summary: We stayed here in August. It’s a very nice house. The people who own the house are very friendly and helpful. We had a few minor problems that were solved really quickly. The pool is really nice and so is the BBQ corner. Much recommended for families.

Summary: We have returned from an absolutely amazing holiday here. The house is well prepared for guests, aircon through living quarters and bedrooms. Plenty of room, 4 bedrooms, 2 reception rooms, a garage full of toys, football table, pool table and gym equipment. A trampoline, hammock, bbq area and badminton court all available for use and a LOVELY swimming pool. We read all of the reviews before booking and have to be honest we were worried about the road noise. However there was no problem at all with road noise. During the day we didn't notice it (we had 2 small children in our party of 6) and at night I can honestly say we didn't notice any road noise. Dolors (the owner) was so helpful and kind. It was a dia de fiesta (festival day) when we arrived so the shops were closed and Dolors contacted us to ask what we would like from the shops in advance so that we didn't go hungry. I cannot express how lovely Dolors was, she made us feel very welcome. We travelled to visit family in the surrounding villages and visited many beaches. All within a 20-30 minute drive from the house. The airport is a maximum of 15 minutes away. We had some family who live locally visit us and spent time at the pool and had a bbq, there is so much room and so much for the kids to do, everyone loved the place. There are plenty of restaurants near the house. Our favourite was Can Mascort, delicious meat cooked on the grill and home made delicious catalan cooking. There are 2 supermarkets in Quart and a bread shop (forn de pa) delicious bread! There is also a good butcher. This was, without doubt, one of the best holidays we have had in the North of Spain. Queria dicir algo en español también. La casa es increible, tiene de todo, aire acondicionado, la casa es muy amplia, tiene un garaje abajo con futbolin, billards, jugetes etc. Hay una area de barbecoa, una hamaca, una buena piscina y un campo con un red de badminton. Los niños y los adultos lo pasaron de bomba. La dueña Dolors es un encanto. Era muy sympatica y estaba dispuesta de ayudarnos con cualquier cosa. La casa esta muy bien situada solo 15 minutes del aeropuerto, 10 minutes de Girona y unos 20—30 minutos de las playas. Hay dos supermercados en Quart y una panederia (el forn de pa) el pan es buenisimo. Hay una carniceria también que esta muy bien. Hay mucha seleccion de restaurantes cerca de la casa. Unos de nuestro favoritos fue Can Mascort, carne a la brasa y comida casera.

Summary: The house is adequate for all the needs of a group or large family. Dolors the host is very keen to make your stay as comfortable as possible and address any issues you may have immediately. When we booked the description said 4 bathrooms when in fact there were 2 and a toilet in the basement. We were offered a full refund but it was too late to change accommodation and the details have now been updated and the information is accurate. The interior furnishings are a bit outdated but it is well maintained and clean and absolutely fine for a holiday let. The kitchen is well equipped with a large table we enjoyed dining at. The sun lounger covers were all ripped and worn but I am sure will be replaced very quickly as Dolors seems keen to make everything as perfect as she can for your stay. Unfortunately for us the road noise was too much for a relaxing stay and put me off wanting to return to the house. It lessened at the weekend but we couldn’t sit out at the terrace overlooking the road or relax in peace by the pool.... and a couple of nights it did keep me awake.... fortunately the beds were very comfortable! Unfortunately the situation of the house can’t be changed with regards to the busy road but for a big family there is lots of space and games and equipment and you possibly wouldn’t worry about the road noise! We were out cycling all day anyway for which the area is superb with a variety of wonderful rides and beautiful scenery whether it be coast or country or vineyards cycling through some beautiful villages and and will return to the province in the future.

Summary: For a group of 7 cyclists this villa is excellent. Large kitchen/diner plus 2 other communal rooms. The website says 4 bathrooms, but there are in fact 3? 2 in the accommodation and 1 in the garage area below. Not really a problem for us but the website needs reviewing. Great for us was the large, secure, garage area beneath the accommodation which was ideal for the assembly and storage of bikes and all associated equipment. It's located close to many of Girona's classic climbs and cycling roads so we rarely had to ride through Girona city. Shopping is adequate just 2 kilometres south into Quart. Some reviews have mentioned the road noise. Yes, it is close to a busy main road but the house is equipped with good double glazing and roller shutters on the windows so for us it was not a problem. Balance that with it's proximity to beautiful open countryside and empty roads. Our host was always available on WhatsApp and swiftly attended to a couple of minor problems we had. All in all a good holiday and the villa is recommended.

Summary: We stayed here for a week - we were two families with three children between us. The place is absolutely ideal for children, there is so much for them to do - swimming pool, trampoline, swings, football goals, volleyball net, basketball hoop, a huge garden (more like a field!) for them to run around in. The garage, which is the entire ground floor of the house, is enormous, and is a paradise for children! There's table tennis, table football, pool, ride-on toys and so much more. There's even a sauna, though with the heat of the summer this wasn't something we used! The owners really have thought of everything a family might need. The house itself is really well equipped, at no point was there anything we needed that the house didn't have! It feels like a home rather than a holiday house, which was exactly what we wanted. The temperature of the house is excellent. There is air conditioning throughout, and it was a particularly hot week when we were there, but we were always totally comfortable in the house. The location is great, as there is easy access to so many beautiful places in Catalonia. We visited Figueres, Banyoles, Cadaqués, Palafrugell, all of which are an easy distance away. It's true that the house is situated close to a main road, but the property and grounds are well sheltered by tall trees and it is totally enclosed with a strong, sturdy gate at the entrance to the property. Inside the house, there is no noise from the road. All in all we had a great holiday here and would gladly return another year. We were all disappointed to come home and get back to reality!

Summary: We spent two weeks in Girona with two families and overall 9 people. The house is very well equipped and in good condition. You can tell that the owners take very much care. Dolors was very nice and helped right away when we had an issues with WIFI. The kids loved the pool and the indoor play area with pool table, ping pong,.....The road in fron of the house is noisy but did not disturb us too much. Traffic gets less in the evenings. Only bad thing in August. was the mosquitoes who were really bad that time and apparently worse than previous years. We can very much recommend staying here as it's very close to Girona which is a very beautiful city. Drive to nice beaches is approx. 35 minutes.
