The Island Bluff House is the perfect place for your family reunion, business retreat or group getaway. This beautiful home sits high on the bluff above Saratoga Passage and is just 3 miles from the quaint seaside town of Langley.
On the main floor you will find 2 bedrooms, one with a king and one with a queen. The King bedroom opens up to a spacious view balcony that also joins the main living area. This bedroom also has its own entrance to the main floor bathroom. You will also enjoy a flat screen TV & comfortable reading chair in this bedroom.
The spacious, yet cozy main living area has a large sectional and a wood fireplace. Sit here for conversation and to take in the beautiful view of Saratoga Passage. You can also entertain your guests with some music on the baby grand player piano!
On the main floor there is also a separate library with a flat screen TV, built in stereo system, propane stove and a writing desk. Sleeper sofa here with queen size mattress if you need it.
With lots of extra amenities and a fantastic view - this spacious, gourmet kitchen offers a delightful setting to create your meals. Some of its features include a Decor double oven with commercial stove, double door Sub Zero refrigerator, wine cooler, double drawer dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee maker, double toaster, and grill just outside on the deck.
The dining area just off of and open to the kitchen is surrounded by large windows so you can take in the wonderful views while you dine.
On the top floor you will find a private master suite with its own sitting area, walk in closet, coffee maker, mini-fridge, microwave, balcony and spacious master bathroom. This master has a King size bed and a large flat screen TV.
On the lower level you will find a 4th bedroom, a large living area with a propane stove & a large flat screen TV. There is also a second kitchen downstairs and a recreation room with a full size pool table. Sliding doors to the outside parklike grounds.
One of the many highlights of this home is the incredible spa on the lower level. Enjoy a steam bath or the Jacuzzi with room enough for 8 adults. There is a propane stove in the spa as well as a CD player for your enjoyment. We have also provided a massage table so you can enjoy a professional massage without leaving the house. Just ask and we would be happy to provide suggestions of local massage therapists.
This home sits on over a half acre of beautifully landscaped grounds. It is a perfect place for an outdoor gathering where you can enjoy the gardens & spectacular view of Saratoga Passage.
Shopping, eating, wine tasting, hiking, biking, parks, water fun etc. is all close by! Shopping and dining opportunities can be found in nearby Langley and Freeland. At the center of the island, and the oldest town in Washington State, Coupeville, is another local treasure to enjoy. A great home base for fun locally, Whidbey Island is also in close proximity to Seattle, Port Townsend, Anacortes, and the San Juan Islands for an enjoyable day trip. For evening entertainment, we have a small town theater that runs current movies right in Langley, as well as various live theater options. From arts, farmers markets, music, and seasonal events such as winery, farm and art tours, to apple pressing, parades, welcoming the whales, etc. there is often many more activities happening around here than one can possibly partake in!

Summary: This is a spacious, lovely home. With the bedrooms set across all three floors, a larger group can have both privacy and lots of community. Kitchen is great for meal prep. The view, the two main decks and the backyard provide places to relax. Our family of six and a baby spent a wonderful week here. Also, the property manager is super responsive.

Summary: The home was very comfortable with lots of private spaces to retreat to if needed. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious. The player piano was an added attraction. There were a few issues that came up, but Patti responded immediately and dealt with them. We were lucky to have such nice weather which enhanced the already lovely view from the variety of outdoor spaces. The island is flush with delightful hiking trails, many of which are within just a few miles of the house. The only challenged was the signage from the road, with was obscured, to the lane the property is located on.

Summary: From Patti's willingness to assist with our planning to check in she was terrific! The house speaks for its self, stunning, beautiful, lovely, home, the list could go on and on. I highly recommend booking this proprety if your looking to relax in comfort, with plenty to do on the property its self. We will be booking again next year for sure!!

Summary: This home was perfect for our family gathering on Whidbey Island. We were a party of 9 - my husband and I, our children and their families. The house had plenty of room for us and lots of comfortable seating areas. The grounds were beautiful, and the kitchen was extremely well equipped.

Summary: We had a great stay here and would recommend to groups that enjoy spacious living, beautiful views, and cooking in a large, well appointed kitchen. The piano and spa were also lovely luxuries. Our only (truly) concern was that we all shared the downstairs shower (that does have a leak onto the floor at the entrance to the room) as the other two need upgrading, especially the master shower that has poor pressure. That is why I give this property 5 stars for the categories offered and 4 stars overall. I would book this property again!

Summary: We had such a nice time cooking in the gorgeous kitchen and playing the beautiful piano! The spa was an extra treat! We would stay here again, without a doubt!

Summary: The place is amazing! There were three couples and we each had our own room and own bathroom on the three different floors. The house is spectacular. We enjoyed quiet time with the player piano playing beautiful music for us. We enjoyed watching the deer and the rabbits in the yard. The little family room was perfect for watching basketball playoffs. We had a fun pool tournament downstairs. We enjoyed every minute. I will say they need to update the book on suggestions for eating out. Several places are closed. Tobys, which was highly recommended, and I would say by locals too, was just horrible. Afterward, we were sorry we didn’t check the reviews on the line and heard from some people that it had changed hands and was not the same. With a party of six everywhere we went we had a little bit of trouble getting seated as all the restaurants we went to were very small. The pizza restaurant in Langley was fantastic. We cooked a wonderful steak dinner one night at the house and on our last night, we made chicken fajitas. We all agreed that since the restaurants were limited and we had such bad luck that we should’ve opted to eat at home as the house is just so beautiful. So I would suggest to anyone who comes plan to make some fabulous dinners. Go into town for lunch wander around, but have a wonderful dinner in this beautiful home.

Summary: Spent the weekend with friends in a gourmet dinner club. It was a fabulous place to cook and dine as if in a 5 star restaurant. Beautiful home with all the amenities. Kitchen was well equipped with everything imaginable to make a memorable experience. Everyone was very impressed with this home.
