Summary: Great historical inn. Very pretty building outside and in. The owner is super friendly and will tell you all sorts of information about the place, as he is the one that saved it and restored it. He’ll also play you a song on his restores juke box. Room was nice and clean. Air worked well. Bed was firm but comfy. Softest towels ever! Only issue was it took awhile for the shower water to get hot (maybe it was just a fluke that night), and it would be nice to have an individual coffee machine/cups in the room. Other than that, great stay.

Summary: This is a fun place. The host is friendly and entertaining. We plan to stay there again. Very reasonable rates.

Summary: Property owner was very kind and accommodating. He is in the process of remodeling to make it even nicer. Loved the history and the historical feel of the place. We definitely felt welcome. Room cool and clean

Summary: We arrived super late. But there was someone to take care of us and provided wonderful accommodations. This place should be o. The National Historic Register! Very friendly staff and we cornered the Inn proprietor and got to hear a lot more of the history which was very cool. The town lights and decorations for the holidays made it extra special.

Summary: Hotel is a nice place and I would recommend to anyone passing through. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Owners are very friendly and helpful with directions to areas around the area. The room are a bit dated but it adds to the experience. I would definitely stay again. The area around the hotel has a very small town charm and the creek leading in is beautiful. There is also a duck pond with a beautiful small waterfall.

Summary: A grand old place! I arrived late, and my key was sitting out for me, along with a hand-written map showing how to get to my room. Definitely an olde-timey feel to this hotel, but comfortable and secure. The plumbing could probably stand to be upgraded a bit, but really, that added to the charm. Wifi was great. Some friends were staying at a well-known hotel, which shall remain unnamed, up a nearby mountain, where there's no air conditioning! Imagine! I was VERY happy to have chosen the MacArthur Inn!
