Summary: Very dated bedroom, two armchairs in bedroom were very old and in poor condition. The bathroom smelled very damp and foisty, there was lots of mould in the shower cubicle on the ceiling and around the tiles. The bed was comfy and the room was warm and quiet.

Summary: Hotel is very tired! Rooms were ok (website photos are very definitely photo shopped!) Rooms were really hot despite the weather not being that hot, there was a fan in the room but that did little to cool the room down. Couldn't open windowsxas bugs/flies were flying around outside. Food was really good including breakfast but the breakfast staff were more interested in hiding round the corner chatting. Coukd be a fantastic venue but definitely needs updating.

Summary: As a business user the Tickled Trout Hotel adequately provides for all my requirements. Location, parking, excellent friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms and a consistently good restaurant. I will be visiting again very soon.
