Adorable cottage with lots of character, in the middle of a splendid and very sunny, 5-10 min on foot from the road.
Although there are 4 beds, we recommend it for couples, because of its perfect size and its romantic side.
The wide open panorama offers exceptional views of the valley and all the mountains, and the village below.
The chalet is located slightly above the center of the village, in the fields. The neighborhood is ideal for people who appreciate having space and no direct access to a road (perfect for people with children!).
The cottage is very well equipped (kitchen, etc.) but aims for simplicity rather than luxury. Try our raclette oven or fondue pot!
Important notes:
1) Access between floors is via a steep staircase / ladder that may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility.
2) You reach the chalet on foot, approx. 12 min from the covered private parking place in the village (included in the rental price). We recommend appropriate bags for carrying your belongings.
3) Towels are never supplied, please bring your own

Summary: Very cool little chalet/cabin in La Sage (Evolene). Best for 2 people max. and despite the size, having 2 floors to spread is decent. The outdoor balcony/deck facing the mountain...esp with the great weather makes in a gem. Plenty of hiking right around the village too. Will rent the larger one next time, if available

Summary: The chalet is in a perfect location and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Thoroughly enjoyed our staying here would love to come again perhaps in the summer. The village has good transport links - which was very useful when places in La Sage were closed. However there's a few restaurants, cafes & a village shop not to far of a walk away. The owners were very friendly and happy to answer our queries.

Summary: I can not say enough wonderful things about this little chalet. We woke each morning and had coffee and breakfast on the patio overlooking the mountains. The instructions were perfect from finding the parking to locating the chalet. The chalet was clean and ready when we arrived. The little chalet was good for two people, you do have to climb ladders between the floors I enjoyed the walk from the parking to the chalet, this is an area famous for hiking so make sure you stay here for several days. The drive to the chalet is beautiful. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great, and hot ! Pick up groceries on the way and stay! We did eat one night at a good local restaurant in the village. This chalet is a gem !

Summary: Great place in the great valley. Step out of the chalet and you’re already on the trail. Views of the glaciers from the window. Be aware of the 10 minutes hike from the parking lot with the luggage not for everybody (warned in the property description). Also the chalet beds require some gymnastic to get there. Communication with the host would work better if not the VBRO’s messaging system flooding my mailbox. It led to some miscommunication which was overcome thanks to my very helpful host.

Summary: This chalet had our favourite view in the entire valley. We had such a great time. The chalet is tiny but well organised and has everything you could need in the kitchen. Great value and very flexible booking and check in/out procedure. So peaceful and cosy. Great owners - very helpful. Walks in the area are wonderful and you can just walk out from the chalet into the mountains. Tips: Wouldn't be good for those of limited mobility as the walk up from the road is steep and in snow/rain can be slippy/muddy/icy. Arrive in the daytime. Bring easily carry-able luggage, a tea towel and measure your bedding (we forgot but all the dimensions are there on the website and I think the length of the double bed is a little unusual).

Summary: I had a great stay this past weekend in the petite ourse. The chalet was very clean, well equipped, and full of character. The views from the balcony are incredible, even better than the picture and the hiking in the area was breathtaking. A wonderful place to escape the city. The owner was very kind and helpful as well. A great deal for the price, couldn't have asked for anything more. Would fully recommend and I will definitely be coming back!
