Located at the crossroads of Lincoln Park - Old Town & River North - Old Town Chicago, Mag Mile, Fulton Market, Wicker Park & Wrigleyville are all just minutes away - without any of the urban noise and congestion.
This is a private apartment. You'll have access to all of the amenities listed. And for those who don't like stairs - you'll love that our Magic Factory Loft Two East is all on one level (and access to it is provided by elevator).
Located in Chicago's newest neighborhood - 'SONO', at the crossroads of Lincoln Park - Old Town & River North - we are just two blocks south of Chicago’s “little Michigan Avenue” and on the Halsted Street busline, the North Avenue & Division street buses as well as the North/Clybourn Red Line and the Sedgwick Brown Line. In short, there is nowhere you can't get to in pretty much a straight shot.
If you’re heading to Chicago and looking to be near downtown but want a more neighborhood experience with friendly, knowledgeable transcontinental hosts, our home on Halsted just might be the perfect fit for you.
We are always there for you!! Communication prior to arrival and trhough check-out will be via a private WhatsApp chat group that we setup for your group. For larger non-family groups, we request everyone be added to it - this avoids issues with arrival, check-in and offers you immediate responses from our team during your stay. This ensures a great stay!
The neighborhood is great: Vibrant and alive, with plenty to do, to eat, to drink & to be entertained by: Plus, everything you need is right here: We've got the second largest Whole Foods market around the corner with it's fabulous food court (5 dining options) and tables along the riverfront, a great neighborhood pub & wine bar, as well as Marino's Market and a Super Target for shopping.
When your stomach growls food options abound from great casual places like Uncle Julio's, Nando's PeriPeri, Earl's, Tecalitlan Mexican Kitchen & Margarita Bar as well as Mouse Trap / Off Color Brewery's taproom along with Goose Island Brewery if you'd like to sample a local Chicago beer. There's also a several great live theater venues up the street including Steppenwolf as well as comedy & improv stages at the Second City. The Mag Mile, Millennium Park, Chicago's amazing lakefront and Navy Pier, as well as the city's finest museums are all just minutes away - but you're still in a funky friendly neighborhood with great little local shops & cafes as opposed to being in the high rise heartland. Sports fans will love our proximity to Wrigley Field (3 stops on the train) and Soldier's Field and the United Center are minutes by car or cab.

Summary: A beautiful, spacious place in a quiet, safe neighborhood, close to the CTA, restaurants and shops. It’s so difficult to find a rental in Chicago with enough beds but this is the perfect place to come together with family and friends. The hosts are incredibly responsive and helpful before and throughout the stay. I highly recommend Magic Factory Lofts to anyone coming to visit the city with a large group.

Summary: We stayed at this property four nights with eight people. The place was clean and spacious and check in was easy. Adrian greeted us, provided a tour, and made sure everything was working and met our expectations. Carole did an excellent job of communicating with us and sending information on where to eat, buy groceries or to relax and have fun. All of these sites were within an easy walk. The property is in an excellent location with great security and as stated in previous reviews, is even nicer than depicted in photos. It was truly a great place to hang out and do day trips. I have been staying in VRBOs for over 10 years and would not hesitate to rent this property again or recommend it to my family and friends. If you are visiting Chicago look no further than here. Carole is a great hostess; the apartment is awesome and has everything you need to ensure a relaxing good time. Definitely worth 5 stars!

Summary: Our high school sailing team stayed here during a regatta. It was perfect - good space, well appointed kitchen, and enough beds and rooms for all. We will definitely stay here again next time we travel to Chicago. LOVED the app that answered ALL our questions while we were there, made things very seamless. Thank you!

Summary: Our stay at this property was fabulous! From the day of booking alto the day we checked out - the communication from/with Carole and Basil was the best we have ever experienced with any other property we have booked (of which there have been many) was off the charts. Their attention to ensuring we have a seamless experience from airport arrival to check out - not a beat was missed. What was just amazing was their personal app for the property that was shared - that included things like how to get to their property from every airport, how to access any sort of transportation to and from airport, downtown anywhere - as well as providing insight into area hit spots, restaurants, shopping, - you name it - they provided it! The property itself was immaculate! The loft space was perfect for the 6 of us staying with so much more space available for a bought party. In fact there were 5 unused beds between all four bedrooms! The 3 full bathrooms were immaculate and modern. The open floor plan of the kitchen was so roomy with high end appliances (all functional and clean), a table for 10 guests and comfortable couches to relax! My husband and I both felt that this property was a place we could definitely see ourselves staying for long term if needed - and that’s saying something. We all slept great - the rooms are. Dark and the ends comfortable! I have already shared the property with friends planning upcoming trips and will never stay anywhere else when in town!
