Treehouse Mountain is a property designed with one thing in mind: relaxation. The property provides 30 acres of forest covered land for guests to explore. It features four uniquely designed treehouses to fit any travelers needs, and is perfect for hosting groups and events
Treehouse La Paz features a beautiful mountain view off the back porch with plenty of space to lounge and relax.
Inside, guests will find a queen bed in the open loft upstairs and a full size futon on the main level. The treehouse is an open concept floor plan centered around a single tree to maximize space and functionality. On the main level, there is a stocked kitchenette and barstool seating at the counter. You'll find various board games available in the ottoman as well.
La Paz has an entrance platform that features a covered seating area, a sink, counter space, a Blackstone Griddle, and a private half bathroom. Guests have access to an additional half bathroom and showers at our Bathhouse Facility.
Our Bathhouse Facility is 60 yards away from the treehouse. The bathhouse has four separate rooms, plus our office. Two rooms are single showers, and two rooms are half bathrooms. The bathhouse is a shared facility. It is fully climate controlled for year-round comfort and is cleaned daily.
We will provide all linens and towels during your stay which can be found inside your treehouse. Guests are welcome to request additional linens as needed.

This treehouse has been thoughtfully designed and furnished for any needs the guest might have. All linens are provided (all bedding, kitchen towels, bath towels, etc) and extras are available upon request.
The treehouse kitchenette features:

∙Coffee maker, drip-pot style
∙Water kettle for tea and hot chocolate
∙Mini rice cooker
∙Toaster
**We provide tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, and coffee mugs, as well as basic cooking items such as rice, salt, pepper, spices, oil, utensils, plates, a pot, a pan and a cast iron skillet. **
There is a parking area for guests’ cars. The path is well-lit, so there’s no need to worry if guests arrive in the evening. The property owners live on property and are readily available to help during check in and check out.
Each treehouse has its own private fire-pit with firewood and fire starter provided.
Each treehouse is dog friendly with no additional fee.

Summary: We found the Treehouse on our arrival to be Clean and well maintained. Anything we needed during our stay such as utensils, dishes, glasses where waiting on us. Photos on the the website accurately display what the treehouses look like. The only difference is that it is much more exciting when you see them in person. Tom and Elke were great host and went out of their way to insure our stay was a pleasure!

Summary: Our first treehouse stay did not disappoint! We had everything we could ask for! Having bot the Coffee Drip Maker and Electric Tea Kettle was great because we have coffee and tea drinkers in our family. We forgot coffee so it was appreciated that you supplied some! The bedding was comfortable and I apologize because we didn't find the linens until the second night as they were well hidden in the drawers under the futon! We are a family of three with an adult son so La Paz suited us perfectly. The water from the faucet was so good which meant we didn't have to lug around a bunch of canned waters! However there was no hot water so if we wanted to wash dishes, wash hands, wash face, we had to boil water first and wait till it cooled or just use cold, or go to the bathhouse. I did feel like I was missing a mirror in the treehouse somewhere, to apply skincare or makeup and do hair. Loved the private fire pit where we roasted hot dogs one night. It had been heavy raining, for at least a couple of days before we arrived and during the first night, and there was some moisture coming from the tree but not any leaky drips from the ceiling. And we say a crawly or flying thing or two in the treehouse but that's ok, that just goes with the territory of staying in a treehouse. We were graced with a luna moth outside the treehouse on our first night and a tiger moth on our second! The mountain laurels were in bloom all around and that was just so lovely. The weather in May wasn't too hot either but we did run the AC and fans because I like it cold. That did mean that it was noisy sleeping and I wished I had brought earplugs, so I would bring some if we stayed again. It was dark at night except for the running lights leading up to the treehouses but it didn't bother us.

Summary: Tom and his wife were the best hosts we have experienced in all the years traveling. They went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Everything was first class as far as the mattress, linens and towels. It was nice having high quality and matching plates, cooking utensils and appliances. The black stone was fun to cook on. We brought our dog who enjoyed the stay as well. It was very relaxing just hanging out on the porch and sitting by the fire pit. Looking forward to going back during a different season. I would highly recommend taking a trip here.

Summary: La Paz treehouse stay was such an unique experience. It had all the charm of an actual treehouse along with all the comfort and amenities you’d want while away from home. It was a perfect fall break getaway. Very nice owners and dog friendly, which made our stay so easy and enjoyable.

Summary: My wife and I just got married and we decided early on to do a proper honeymoon next summer, because of both of our schedules. However, we decided on a whim to look for somewhere to stay for the evening. We stumbled upon Treehouse Mountain after looking at several treehouse options in the blue ridge mountains, and they were the only ones that 1) called us back, and 2) offered us to stay for 1 night even though they normally require 2 day night stays. The treehouse was stock with everything we needed except for food! And there are quite a few places within 10-15 minutes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We didn’t get to use the fire pit. We both love to sit by the fire as well as cook over an open flame. We look forward to that next time. They were gracious to accommodate us and were very attentive hosts. We will definitely be back for a multiple night stay!!

Summary: This was our second time staying at Treehouse Mountain, and just like with our first visit, it did not disappoint. We are beginning to view this as our family's happy place. The property is fantastic, the treehouses are beautiful, comfortable, and well-stocked, and the family who owns the place is beyond awesome. They are incredibly accommodating and helpful. They know the area very well and share their knowledge with guests. They also have an amazing frisbee golf course that has officially turned us into frisbee golfers. I have no doubt that we will continue to return!
