Small tidy 2 bedroom self-contained apartment. Across the road from a busy café, 10mins walk from the weta cave and 3minutes way from the nearest beach!
Bus stops right outside the door from the city (so it does get noisy) and just across the road to the quirky Wellington CBD!
Miramar itself is pretty funky with our own cinema and amazing eateries! Plenty of street parking and our streets are wide, so no stress there.
There are always electric scooters all over Wellington and you will find a bunch in Miramar.
Heading to and back from the city is easy with public transportation. The city will keep you entertained for hours with the likes of the Te Papa Museum, the amazing stores to shop from, book stores shoe stores. There is an abundance of places to eat, we have a bunch of favourites, so we don't mind sharing our spots to check out!
There is always something going on in Wellington, if it's not the inner city entertainment, there's tones of places to explore in and around Wellington!

Summary: Check in so late, instructions to enter property not great went to wrong door.No block out curtains Street light glaring in house all night. Need sunglasses to sleep.Only time you get darkness is when bus pulls up right outside a few feet from front door. Couch was soaked so you couldn't use it first night. Dodgey electricals you have to watch tv with lights on so no relaxing movie night Family.What a shame for the price we paid 200 plus per night The owner could spend a few dollars for block out curtains.Needs price drop bus right at door morning till evening street light all night in bedroom, wiring needs fixing so you can watch tv without lights on.Sorry but I'm just warning others.Need sunglasses

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in this Magnificent Miramar bach. Loved the location, so handy to everything including Weta, the zoo, the airport, and only a few minutes to town. It was clean, had everything we needed, and very well organized, with some much appreciated extra touches like the 'handy hints' all around the apartment (which I loved as I didn't have to go hunting in a book to find all that info) and the treats on arrival! The communication was great - the host was super repsonsive to messages. Thankyou Zelda! We most certainly would come and stay again :)

Summary: The location was perfect for our needs, the bed warm and very comfortable, a good shower, and was warm. Zelda was an excellent host, responded promptly to any communication from us and always very helpful. The wonderful cafe across the road was a bonus

Summary: Met all expectations, good location easy to get too and within walking distance of shops and brewery. Sadly we were sick so didnt do much on the Sunday.

Summary: We loved the location as it was close to my husbands parents and plenty of shops and restaurants are close by. The space was great, as was having a washing machine and dryer as we were on a 3- stop holiday. We would suggest perhaps fitting darker curtains or blinds on the windows at the front of the property as the location is quite light even late in the evening. Otherwise lots of great facilities. Thank you!
