Summary: We had a great stay of 6 nights and spent our time either cycling right from the home (property is on the Trans-Canada Trail) or driving a short distance to begin biking. We cooked nearly all of our meals, and the kitchen and dining room were roomy and well-equipped. Both bathrooms are on the second floor, and three double beds on the second floor, plus a single bed on the second floor. One double bed in basement. Since we weren’t couples, one member of our party of six slept on a floor mattress, but it was comfortable. Denis the host met us when we arrived and made sure that we were comfortable and oriented. We would definitely come again in the future.

Summary: This property is a 20 minute drive from the Levis-Quebec ferry, which made exploring old Quebec City by foot easy (without having to worry about parking!). It's a lovely and safe area if you enjoy walking, and the Chaudiere waterfall is just a short drive away. There are grocery stores within a 10 minute drive, and a gas station a few blocks away. We could see the fire works (from Old Quebec) from the walking path in front of the house! We opted not to use the basement bedroom (which was a bit musty, and far from the bathrooms), but fit everyone upstairs instead. The kitchen was large, with a dish washer and all other appliances. The wifi was good, and the dining room table could seat 6-8 people. The owner was courteous and easy to deal with.

Summary: We rented this spot for a week and were happy with it. It overlooks the St. Lawrence and the views are better than most other Vrbo's. It's a 25 min. drive from Old Quebec city. There are several grocery stores in the area. It is on a rather busy street for a residential part of town, but other than that, we enjoyed it. Denis was easy to communicate with and made sure we had what we needed.

Summary: This is a 150 year old house, so the layout is a little quirky with the two sets of stairs. All of the furnishings are vintage/antique as well, which gives the house character and what made our stay memorable. In terms of location, it's about a 35 minute drive to old Quebec and anywhere else you might want to go means crossing the bridge as well, but it wasn't an issue since we were generally out all day and not going back and forth. The neighbourhood is great -- lots of traditional old houses along the river, great for strolls at night. The host Denis was great -- good communication and very accommodating.

Summary: Our family - 2 grandparents, 3 parents and 3 children (12,13, and 16) - had a great stay at this charming and comfortable house in Lévis. The house is furnished with antique pieces and lots of interesting decor. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there are plenty of towels, sheets, blankets and pillows. (We slept in 6 different places, although some of the “beds” were mattresses on the floor. And we took lots of nice hot showers.) We enjoyed cooking on the gas grill, eating out back, and sitting around the fire pit. The view from the front porch is GREAT, and it’s a friendly neighborhood. Bike paths in the area are plentiful, and we biked up to the ferry to go over to Quebec City. We had plenty of room to spread out - or to all share a meal in the dining room. The piano got plenty of use; it’s playable but needs a tuning. We all had a chance to practice our French in shops, restaurants and with neighbors. In most every case, their English was better than our French, but they were kind and patient with us. It is an older home with quirks and some fragility, so it may not be great for young children. Be advised that the 4th bedroom is in the somewhat musty basement, and both bathrooms are on the second floor. Also, the local bike rental is very limited and only available on an hourly basis. (We ended up renting from a place in Quebec City.) Denis was very responsive to our questions and needs, and a pleasure to meet. All in all, the house served our family well and we would stay there again. Thanks, Denis!
