Positive: The small home from home details in our room and extra touches. Hosts were so kind and cooked us a huge breakfast. So many options.

Negative: Shower in our room was lovely and clean but pressure could be a bit stronger.

Positive: Everything from the host initial greeting to the comfort and cleanliness of the room to the breakfast choices. Overal a great find and well located. You would need a vehicle/taxi to get to some fo teh nearby pubs which also offered great food.

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like about this stay.

Summary: Would definitely stay again if it were available at a time we needed.

Positive: The property is on beautiful grounds and the views are great. We used the pool which was lovely in the current heatwave. The hosts were friendly and the stay felt homely. The facilities were clean, high quality and the breakfast was really nice.

Negative: The pool chlorine turned our suits green, but it's mostly disappeared following a wash.

Positive: My children stayed at Magpies but didn't stay for breakfast as we had to leave early. I gave the comfort rating because my 6 foot 4 inch 15 year old son was hanging over the edge of the sofa bed, but this is clearly not something that most people will have an issue with :) Overall it was perfect for our needs and the children had a restful evening. Would definitely book it again.
