Positive: Location!!! In the rice fields!!!! Lovely old style house with totally new side for rooms. Window with rice fields and mountains view. Sweet couple. They did laundry for us, we rented bicycles and ride all day all around the village!!! We enjoyed so much!!!

Positive: Great host! The whole family has been super kind and helpful! :) We felt very welcome and would absolutely return. Enjoyed a home cooked meal one night which was delicious. Scooter was 150k per day, bikes 50k per day. Both worked well. Plenty of chill out areas in the accommodation, perfect location in a lovely village too, right in nature but close to restaurant and shopping options. Some reviews complain about the breakfast being the same every day, baguette with omelette, but we absolutely loved it!! Super tasty

Positive: My absolute favorite homestay from my entire month in Vietnam. Such a lovely family, always eager to help with everything they had. They even prepared breakfast for me at 1 AM before my Mai Chau race. When no other buses were available, they found one for me. They were always there whenever I needed anything. The rooms look just like in the pictures, not all private rooms have a mountain view so double check on that. On top of that, if something wasn’t working, they’d fix it within minutes. Good A/C, great facilities, and an excellent location close to everything in Mai Chau.
Negative: The beds are exceptionally firm even for someone like me, who usually sleeps on the firmest mattress possible. If you prefer a softer bed, this might be a downside

Positive: Beautiful traditional house. Friendly hosts who cooked an amazing dinner and breakfast. Shower had hot water. Big mosquito net to go over the bed. Constantly being offered green tea which helped to warm me up on a chilly evening.
Negative: The bed was a little hard for my liking.

Negative: The shared bathroom on the second floor could be cleaner. No hand soap provided. No one seems to refill the toilet paper until you go to the bathroom, find out it has run out, need to go down two floors and ask for more. We booked a room with mountain view, but the one we got was more like village view, still ok, but definitely not what I expected from the pictures.
