Positive: Clean, close to Taipei Main, good value for money

Negative: Staff were a bit grumpy, breakfast was awful but you dont have to eat there.

Positive: The location is great. It's right next to Taipei Main. The female dorm was fine. Nothing over the top fancy, but it meets expectations for a hostel. There is a curtain for each bed to give you some privacy, which I liked. There were outlets and a little shelf behind the bed. Each bed also had its own reading light. Each bed also has its own locker with a key. The lockers are big enough for valuables and maybe a backpack. The room and hostel in general were clean. The best part is probably the breakfast. They have a nice coffee machine that can make a decent latte. They also serve dumplings and other breakfast items that were really nice. The shared lounge room is big and comfortable. This hostel is on the quiet side. Definitely not a party hostel.

Negative: My biggest issue was that I had to do self check-in (I arrived around midnight), and when I got to my room and bed, there was no towel. Because it was late (no one at the front desk), I had no way of getting a towel and had to dry off with my own t-shirt after showering. This was a bit annoying because I was coming off 24 hours of flying and desperately needed a shower and sleep. The only other negative is that there is only one tiny bathroom for 6 women in the female dorm. There also isn't any storage space or a place to put your toiletries in the bathroom.

Positive: Location super close to Mrt Y 13 exit from Taipei main comfortable with elevator and walk just small steps to the hotel. Room with breakfast as it surprised me.

Negative: Stairs for 5 levels of hotel. It is hard to carry big luggage. Lucky me stay at 2 Floor. The carpet is dirty.

Summary: Maybe they have upgraded the room for me to the big room with bathtub.Thank you.
