Positive: The farmhouse is set in beautiful rolling countryside. It has been tastefully renovated and still retains many original features. There is a lovely pool with sun beds and comfortable areas for relaxing. We loved everything about it.

Positive: Absolutely stunning! Rural true France at it's best! Laurent and Anne-Sophie are the loveliest people, they can't do enough for you, we tried to do things for ourselves as we don't like putting on people to much. Laurent speaks exceptional English so no problem with communication. Their knowledge of the area is excellent and they are happy to give advice on days out and places to visit. Our room (suite) was huge with stunning views of the Pyrenees on a clear day. Even their dog Romeo was lovely, a huge French Shepherd type dog that just wanted fussing all the time. Breakfast was superb and more than enough to keep you going all day. So in a nutshell, if you are visiting the area Maison Castaings is the place to stay!

Positive: This is our second time staying as we loved it so much the first time and it did not disappoint! The property is truly stunning and the hosts are so lovely and genuine with beautifully presented fresh breakfast included with your room.There are so many lovely places to visit, our favourite being Sauveterre de Bearne. Beautiful rivers! I can't t recommend it enough. Book it, you won't regret it!

Positive: A truly magical place! Our room was wonderful. Clean, spacious and comfortable. The property is beautiful with breathtaking views especially the wonderful pool area. The breakfast was delicious with wonderful fresh produce and beautifully presented. Finally, Ann Sophie and Lawrence were the perfect hosts. Warm and welcoming and so helpful with recommendations. A really lovely couple. We will definitely be back!

Positive: My partner and myself can’t recommend this place enough. The property and the people that run it are amazing. The house has character and is beautifully furnished with gorgeous design touches. The pool area is so relaxing with elevated views across stunning countryside and the Pyrenees. The room was very comfortable and spacious with a nice ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was served in the charming courtyard and was delicious with lots of local produce. Lauren & Anna-Sofia were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make our short stay perfect. They were interesting to speak to and took time to give us recommendations for our ongoing trip. We left feeling very relaxed and look forward to staying again if we revisit the area.
