Positive: Three of us stayed from the 18-21/8. We all agreed that the house is beautifully decorated with old furniture that has been carefully chosen. It was very convenient that the third person had a separate room with a proper bed.A lovely view from a huge balcony, a supermarket at the corner, restaurants all around, and just a ten minute walk from the centre. We absolutely loved it, and Daniela, our host, was very prompt to answer any query. Would definitely stay again.

Positive: It felt very stylish yet homely and welcoming. We loved the vintage feel. Location was good and despite being in the city it wasn’t noisy. We enjoyed the balcony too. I would definitely recommend this apartment

Positive: The apartment is very well located and cozy. Eurospar just around the corner. Everything you need for a few days stay. Breakfast/dinner on the terrace overlooking the city, very relaxing. Kitchen well equipped.
Negative: N/A. Although I would recommend QR codes linking to YouTube videos on how to use the kitchen appliances. The wall-mounted hob was excellent but quite unique. I'm not used to capsule coffee machines and couldn't believe that the elaborate hard plastic capsule was single-use and couldn't be opened and refilled. As for the microwave, luckily I managed to accidentally turn it on. I think it's all pretty simple in the end, but since you're not familiar with all the brands and designs, a word of wisdom would be helpful.

Positive: Maison D'Or was a very pleasant stay in Trieste. The location is central and it is easy to walk everywhere in the city from the apartment. The area also felt safe and quiet. There is no parking on the premises, but we found a parking lot nearby (20 euro per day, not cheap but that's how it is in larger cities). The apartment is clean, lovely, and well-organized: the best feature is a the large balcony with a great view of the hills behind the city, then there is a larger bedroom and a very small one with an single bed. The bathroom was clean and functional, and we had no issues while we stayed there. The best past about Maison D'Or is the host, Daniela. She was quite and attentive with communication, and she accommodated any small problems we encountered. I would recommend this place for a vacation in Trieste!
Negative: Sadly, the beds were not very comfortable, which is very important for us (my husband suffers from a bad back and is very sensitive to mattresses). But overall the experience was very positive!

Positive: It is a charming apartment, with really nice design and furniture, keeping the vintage vibes and personality of the building. The common areas are generous, including a large terrace. Nice books if you have time The position is very good, close to restaurants, supermarket and mercato, bus stations and you will reach the main shopping street within minutes. The internet connection is good.
Negative: The walls are very thin and you might get to listen the movie, the football game or a baby crying at midnight. Be aware that the second room is small, like for kids :)
