Summary: My husband and I rented Barbara's cottage during our trip to Piemonte. When we arrived, we were met by both Barbara and her son, Luca. Barbara was most gracious and offered to help with any questions or concerns that we had. She gave us a tour of the property and introduced us to "Pasqualina" (the goat) and told us to let her know if we needed anything. We found the fridge stocked with food, coffee and various treats. The property reflected the charm of thoughtful caretaking of a home that was loved. It was clean and very well kept. We look forward to returning on next trip for another wonderful stay at the cottage. I would highly recommend staying here as not only is it in a great location, it is very reasonably priced.

Summary: An exotraordinary home located in a dream yard. All the interior design is of good taste and refinement, and the terrace offers a wonderful view. The hosts were very kind and gave us extremely useful details about the objectives in the area. I highly recommend this location in Avigliana.

Summary: The spacious appartement is decorated with love and care and lots of antiques which have been in the family for ages. The house in its beautiful park is a haven of peace and nature, but the transtation is only minutes away and brings you within 20 minutes to Turin's busy city centre. But the best of all is the family of Barbara, who take the utmost care that the guests feel really welcome. An absolute star and a place to come back to.

Summary: My Family of 3 had an absolutely wonderful time, relaxed, warm friendly, in the hundreds of places that we have stayed (we tour all over the world) this is one of the best houses that we have been able to spend some time. It was just the tonic that we needed after a busy working schedule in Turin. I'm often on the look out for places to stay - to write - to think - to relax. I think I might have found this place

Summary: My wife and I spent a lovely week in May 2016 in this delightful property situated on the pretty hills in the village of Bertassi, part of Avigliana, just outside Turin. This lovely property is located in a quiet area among green hills, with the views of snow peaked mountains and lakes in the distance. It consists of a self-catering first floor house so charmingly furnished. The property includes a large private parking area, well-decorated spacious garden full of flowers, plants and trees, stone benches and tables, bbq area, The whole property is very well kept clean and tidy. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and all house linen was fresh and clean. The owners of the property are extremely helpful, friendly, charming, considerate and generous. Barbara and her family were kind enough to provide whatever we needed throughout our stay and even recommended good restaurants and excursions in the area. Leaflets were available in the living room. They welcomed us and made us feel as if we were at home. We arrived as tourists, then became guests but left as friends. The Piemonte region expresses an extraordinary variety in its scenery and is the custodian of natural, artistic and traditional treasures – all boasting their unique charm. We have visited the following places: Turin, Susa, Avigliana, Mount Pirchiriano (Sacra di San Michele - check times of entry), Parco naturale Laghi di Avigliana, Exilles, Bardonecchia, Stupinigi (Hunters' Palace) Cumiana (zoo), Aglie' (Palace and village) and Ivrea.
