Summary: We had the most wonderful time at Chambre Espigarie. It is a beautiful, spacious and perfectly furnished house in the middle of Cevenole nature with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. You can literally spend hours just sitting on the back or front porch and taking in the fantastic views and sounds of nature. Alexandre is a very amiable and attentive host who will go out of his way to make sure you enjoy your time at his house. He welcomed us with a wonderful tea ceremony, and whenever we had a question he immediately gave us all information we needed. The closest town is quaint Le Vigan with a market every Tuesday and Saturday, lots of shops and restaurants as well as a beautiful park. For us, the greatest spot was Brasserie Felonie with different craft beers on tap, a yummy tapas plate with regional delicacies, darts and a super relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy!!

Summary: This property is just over an hour away from Montpellier and the beaches, but it is in a world on to itself. There is plenty of space for 4 people in the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. In the winter, the wood stove gives an amazing heat and warmth. The views are splendid with ever changing cloud formations in the quiet valley below. The house is at the apex of the hill and you can walk multiple trails around the stone tiered fields finding hidden water features along the way. Services are about a 10 minute drive to the town. Be sure to book both bedrooms to ensure access to the total house.

Summary: I am already planning my next trip to L'Espigarie! This place is gorgeous, very comfortable and the view is incredible. If you need peace and quiet, you will love staying here. It's just the two of us, we don't see or hear anyone. The weather being colder than usual for this time of year, we drive around this beautiful region; there is so much to see! Alexander our host, is beyond nice and courteous; we had the pleasure to meet in person at the end of our stay. He responded right away to our booking request and was very helpful throughout the process. We are very grateful for the days we spent in Le Vigan and will never forget this magical place. Thank you so much!
