Positive: We found this gem randomly, and I can say this was one of the best stays in indoensia. The family tgat runs it is very friendly, and prepared some of the best food I've had in indo. The views are breathtaking and the hosts helped us organise a walk off the beaten track in bromo and exploring the surrounding areas.

Positive: Its a lovely very good value homestay hotel in the middle of nowhere. The owners are super friendly and organise tours, taxis. You can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner here and probably will as its relatively remote. The food is excellent. We stayed 4 days and ate freshly made baguettes and coffee for breakfast, Noodles and rice for lunch and buffet style delicious Indonesian food for dinner. Allergies and food preferences are taken care off. Water and tea/coffee available all day. I fancied some Cokes one day when were just chilling and the owners arranged delivery.

Negative: For me, the beds were very hard but no one else in my family seemed to care.

Positive: Lovely hosts, they know the area very well so they can tell you which hikes are the best! We did one hike at Bromo and didn’t see anyone until the end point. Also their home-cooked meals are very good! We loved staying here!

Positive: We arrived quite late in the evening but Rani and Oussama made us feel really welcome from the start. The room has a comfortable bed, is lovingly furnished and is very clean. The views from the house are lovely. We booked the shorter tour to Gunung Bromo through Maison Manendra and that was very well organised and a nice surprise because the chosen route avoids most of the crowds (especially for the sunrise). The food shared around the big table on the rooftop terrace was always fresh and delicious and we had some very nice conversations with the other guests and also Rani and Oussama.

Positive: The view from the terrace (very nice chill place) great breakfast with fresh fruit from the garden, dinner was very good as well, well-organised tour to Bromo and pick up from Malang train station and drop off to Surabaya airport, all was perfect.
