Positive: There are definite plus points: the living space is comfy and quite spacious, the kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. The hosts are great communicators. It is a short walk into the town centre (which is lovely).
Negative: The property is tired and needs some updating, as does some of the fixtures/fittings/furniture. The current construction nearby (literally outside the windows) is significant. There is currently no parking at the property, the walk to town was through the middle of the construction site, and on one day the works started at 0700 😳 - not the most relaxing environment for a holiday. I absolutely get this is not the fault of the hosts and is totally beyond their control, however it could be reflected in the listing.

Negative: A lot of roadworks going on adjacent to appartment, proving how we'll sound proofed it is!! Not the fault of the owners!!

Positive: Excellent apartment next to canal and a short walk into town. The host communication was good and provided lots of information on how to access the property. The apartment was bright and spacious with good attention to details. Good heating system for the cooler evenings. Parking is usually just outside the property but current canal and road works has removed some spaces so is quite competitive. Kitchen area is modern and very functional but a microwave would have been useful. A great place to stay for a short break and to discover Veurne. Excellent value too.

Positive: The property is spacious, well equipped, even a Senseo coffee machine which I like, very comfortable & extremely relaxing. If the weather is good there is a small patio overlooking the cycle path, road & canal, bare in mind you are on the ground floor so there is plenty of interactions with passers by, which we like. Very quiet in the evening despite only being 5 mins walk to the centre of Veurne. For cyclists like us it is perfect, safe storage, local cycle routes & for the keen eyed a few Pros pass by training in the area.
Negative: Slight creek when getting in or out of bed.
Summary: A super comfortable & relaxing weeks stay for us, perfect.

Positive: Alexander is a great host and the apartment is very well equipped. It is modern and comfortable with a lovely view of the canal. The town centre is nearby and the excellent Petit Paris bakery and Petit Paris bar are even closer. It was an excellent base for our cycling adventures and we explored routes to the north, west, south and east of Verne.

Positive: Fabulous location right on the canal & cycle path. Very spacious & well furnished. Well equipped kitchen, but no microwave. Nice little balcony & only a short stroll into Veurne centre & it's bars & restaurants. Good shopping in the area including supermarkets. Locked outer door which allowed for bike storage but also room inside for them to. Very friendly host. Free parking across the road. Great cycling in the area.
Negative: A little noisy as the college kids headed to school on their bikes but doesn't last long.
Summary: Super comfortable & relaxing property close enough to everything but far enough away.
