8 Bedroom Cabin in Woodland Park

Thunder Butte Mountain Lodge with 360 degree views, is situated on 40 acres just a short drive outside of Woodland Park, Colorado.
The lodge itself is surrounded by pine, with amazing views in all directions. There is an 8 person hot tub, as well as an outdoor fire pit.
The lodge is perfect for your next family reunion, graduation, anniversary, intimate wedding, you name it...
There are 6 full suites, 4 have Jacuzzi tubs in the bath area as well as showers. There are two other bedrooms. The lodge currently will sleep up to 23 guests (20 in beds and 3 with twin tri-fold mattresses). Most suites have individual decks. All Suites have flat screen television, some have microwaves and coffee makers.
There is a 'Pub' bar on the walk out level, complete with pool table and board games. The bar area has a pub height bar, full size refrigerator, and stove top. All you need is a bartender and you're set for the night.
Enjoy a glass of your favorite wine in the 8-person outdoor hot tub. What better place to look out to the beautiful views of Thunder Butte Mountain, Sleeping Giant, Turkey Rock and Citadel formations.
Sit under the stars with no interference from city lights, around the huge rock fire pit with loads of room to gather all your friends or family.
Outdoor games of Horse Shoes, Ladder Golf, and Croquet are at your fingertips.
Beautiful outdoor furniture to relax with a book, have a meal outdoors, or just sit and absorb the beauty of your surroundings.
There is an exercise room complete with steam shower and sauna.
Large great room with a two story ceiling. Wonderful for entertaining large groups.
A kitchen that has lots of room for food preparation. A large commercial gas stove, with convection oven, large refrigerator in kitchen and another fridge in pantry.
There is also a breakfast nook looking out to Thunder Butte Mountain.

~1 hour 52 minutes from Denver International Airport.
Hunters have taken down record game in this area.
Championship Mountain Golf just 15 minutes down the road.
No ATV's are allowed to be ridden on the property but there are 40 miles of ATV trails 5 minutes away. Rentals are also available in Woodland Park from several sources.
Gold medal fishing just 9 miles up the road where the North and South Platte rivers meet. Also, Manitou Lake is a few miles the other direction for more fishing.
We now have Starlink internet.

Summary: My family, a group of 21, with ages ranging from 6 to 70 years old thoroughly enjoyed the lodge for our Christmas holiday. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas with 3 large Christmas trees and a few smaller trees around the house. The spacious lodge was perfect for our large group and the amenities offered were such a nice touch. The house had beautiful views from every balcony. Our family was concerned about visiting Colorado in the winter due to cold temps and snow but the lodge was equipped with hydronic flooring which kept the over 7,000 sq ft home warm and comfortable. The host was very helpful and always responsive. This family trip was a success largely due to the lodge!

Summary: The property is remote and beautiful. Plenty big for my large family. It's a beautiful home with a ton of amenities that we thoroughly enjoyed. Loved the big dining area. It could use a pantry in the kitchen however with some more of the basics like thin foil and Saran wrap. The extra refrigerators were wonderful and the bar downstairs, away from the upstairs bedrooms allowed the adults a place to play while the children slept undisturbed. The toilet in bedroom 6 was broken and the tub didn't drain. There are leaks in one of the on-suite bath sink and shower upstairs as well. We still enjoyed our stay very much.

Summary: This VRBO is awesome!!! The actual property itself is amazing. The views are spectacular. The rooms are way nicer than the photos make them seem in my opinion. The dining room makes eating eggs and bacon feel luxurious, and the whole home in general feels both fancy and homey. We hosted our small wedding of 40 people here and it could not have been a better venue. The thing that stuck out however was Tiffany’s support. We had 2 feet of unexpected snow and Tiffany was gracious enough to stay in communication and help us with plows. Not to mention helping with our 101 questions leading up to the wedding. I highly recommend this property and the management.

Summary: We had our wedding here and were able to have the entire wedding party stay in the house with us. The entire weekend was perfect! The house manager was always reachable and very helpful to any questions or concerns. The views were amazing and the house was gorgeous. We loved being able to stay here and have our wedding in a setting with amazing views. The house let us use their tables and chairs which helped so much! Definitely recommend staying here for your next family gathering or small event. There is also no AC in the house, which I was concerned about at first, but the weather was beautiful all weekend (70-80s) and the evenings were chilly which allowed for a nice breeze to come through the windows and balcony doors at night. If you’re having a wedding/party/event, the pub was a big hot spot for us. We all hung out downstairs and played pool every night. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Thank you to Tiffany for being such a great host!

Summary: This house was the perfect house for 5 couples and 2 singles to celebration 2 big milestone birthdays. Everyone had their own space and there was also great areas to spend time as a group. We absolutely loved everything that this house had to offer and would definitely go back.

Summary: Our time staying at this house was amazing. Our guests loved it. The house was extremely clean and tidy. It was very large and accommodating for so many people. The views are beautiful. The house is beautiful. Everything from the check in process to check out was so easy. Tiffany was a great communicator the entire way and made our stay perfect.
