Summary: The Majestic Moose Lodge has an ample amount of space to comfortably hold 10-14 people for a getaway. With all the amenities, there is something to keep everyone occupied. However, with a space marketed as somewhere for a large amount of people, the small details matter &, in some cases, were overlooked. The 4 guide books/instructions all contained different details &, in some cases, became confusing which was the correct info. The wi-fi info was incorrect on all guides & had knowingly been recently changed & was sent to us only when we said we had issues with it & it still didn’t work; the internet provider had to be called. Only 5 (very small) garbage bags supplied for a party of 11 so we had to request more. Bathrooms were not very clean (multiple dead flies in bathrooms and bedroom, very clogged sink in bathroom). Overall condition of house was somewhat falling apart (broken towel bar, broken screen sliding door, broken blind slats shoved in armoire, multiple vanity lights out in bathrooms). The light outside the garage loft was out & we had people sleeping out there. There was one main light on the deck out too. The water trampoline was very deflated and not able to be used. For the price paid, I would expect those details to be taken care of to present as nice and accommodating of a facility as what was being charged. No black stone grill. Overall, yes, this is a good place for a large group of people to spend a few days but it lacked in quality

This was our 4th time staying there, this time with new owners. But we still loved it just as much! There were 15 of us, and plenty of room to gather, or get away from each other if needed! I cannot recommend this house enough!

Reviewer Comments: The lodge is beautiful and the lake is clean for swimming, paddleboarding and kayaking. Even the fishing was fun (even tho only one fish was caught to eat). The place was clean and comfortable. The bikers enjoyed the trails. Some things were missing - we did not have linens for the trundle and pull out bed and our call for these items was not taken care of. We went into Hayward to purchase linens. The ice maker in the lower level did not make ice. For a lodge that says accommodates 14 people it was lacking in plates and glasses, otherwise fully equipped kitchen. One more thing, the gas grill needs to be replaced, it's in terrible shape and too small to grill for 14 people. We did enjoy our stay.

There was plenty of space inside and loved being on the crystal clear lake. The location was great for day trips to Hayward, Bayfield, hiking nearby trails, golfing, and visiting other lakes.

Our group that stayed had a great time hanging out in the basement and playing cards. Great place to leave with SXS and plenty of room to park.

Summary: 5 adults, 4 adolescents, one child and an infant over NYE 2023-24. House is as advertised, including number of beds and bedrooms. What we liked were the following: Quiet. Nice and secluded despite other cabins around. Excellent open, comfortable, inhabitable spaces. At least three (main “moose” living space, basement living space with kitchenette, and garage loft - perfect for teens. All are heated independently and all are comfy. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked up a storm, including use of electric range, oven, and bbq grill. All worked just fine. Loved the game table. We used this a ton. The gas fireplaces were fantastic and we used them tons. Things that could have been better, but just fine: Showers are small. This was a minimal issue - we used them just fine. There were a few old pool chemicals in the cabinets - place would be KILLER with a hot tub. Those are really the only two things that I found myself wishing for. Things that could use attention: Garage loft needs a couch in the main open area. It’s pretty much just an open space as is. Large coffee percolator didn’t percolate. With such a large group the Keurig seemed incredibly wasteful. We made cowboy coffee on the stove instead. Front door deadbolt & basement kitchenette sliding door handles are about to fall off. Easy fix. The 2 main TVs never really worked. We ultimately screen mirrored the vikes/pack game from a phone. Altogether a great place. We would recommend!

This cabin is beautiful, beautiful setting., close enough to Cable but still settled in the forest to give us that up north experience we enjoy. There were 14 of us and we had plenty of room and we prepared and enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner together. Our experience was amazing.

Summary: The lodge was extremely spacious and easily accommodated three families with kids. The adults and smaller children were able to use the five bedrooms in the main house while the teenagers enjoyed the sleeping quarters above the garage. The docks easily accommodated the pontoon boat we rented and still left room for the kids to play and jump in the water and fish at night. The firepit was awesome and that is where we spent every night. The Blackstone grill definitely came in handy when preparing meals for our large group. Overall, it was an excellent stay and our large group thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Would definitely recommend.
