Positive: The modern take on a shepherd’s cottage was wonderfully executed. Far more spacious and accommodating than a hotel, there are several rooms to spread out over, and glorious outdoors spaces to watch the Malvern Hills over glorious farmland. There has been a great deal of attention to detail in how the cottage has been put together as well as what is there for the guests (and most things have been carefully sized according to the property). The owner is charming, and the welcome supplies were some of the most generous I have experienced; it felt more like staying with a friend.
Negative: These issues are really more minor, but the bed was a little soft for me and I always like a cafetière or filter coffee for the morning.
Summary: A well equipped cottage to escape to, take in walks, enjoy the country, and feel blissfully at peace

Negative: Possibly the smallest bedroom I have ever stayed in. I had to do a funny walk to get to my side of the bed. No room for a bedside table so glasses, book etc. all had to go on the floor. No wardrobe so clothes had to go in another room. A clever conversion of two short shipping containers, mostly successful, but not in the bedroom.

Positive: excellent location, lovely little cabin within a huge field. very cosy and warm, despite really cold and windy weather. Nigel really made us feel very welcome, no spoilers to alert you to the surprises on arrival but the best we have received in the UK. Nigel is very knowledgeable about the local area with lots of great information about where to go, what to do, great tips mom local walks. We will definitely be back, sooner rather than later I hope!
