Positive: The rooms are very large and clean with ac and mosquitoe nets. The grounds and outside shouldn't be used to judge the place. It's a bit rough. The restaurant is simple but good value and breakfast pancakes also nice. A lovely lady with cool little kids that answered my emails Teleskop is the park guide that comes here and is excellent. He has the best gear and knows the spots. The NP entrance is right across the road. I stayed for 2 nights and was good value.

Positive: It is a great location for visiting Tangkoko National Park; the homestay is just in front of the park entrance. The owners are very friendly, and Mr. Telescope is a good guide. He knows the spots where you can find the animals you want to see. He will not disappoint you :)

Positive: The tour guide was a cracker. Bird lover carried a telescope that allowed us to see in detail what we found. The food at the place was good, plentiful and at a good price. guide

Positive: Stayed 3 nights. One of the cheapest in Batuh Putih. The guide Fan for the Tangkoko treks was super good, he's got a Telescope for wildlife spotting and take great photos. Food in the restaurant not bad for the price.
Negative: About the room.. wifi stopped working after 1 day there, water stopped working twice and had to wait almost and hour for it to get back. When raining hard, the ceiling has leaks (luckily not on the bed or furniture where you leave your stuff).

Positive: The rooms are basic but have all you need. The are quite spacious which was a plus and we could also sit outside. The manager Alfons is really nice, knowledgable and speaks very good English. We had good conversations with him.
Negative: The restaurant wasn’t satisfactory: we had our worst gado-gado in 3 months and the ambience wasn’t really welcoming. Prices are also high compared to the same level of restaurants. The worst experience we had was with guides in the park. The homestay arranged our morning walk and our guide wasn’t competent: he couldn’t communicate in English, he didn’t provide any briefing and worst of all he didn’t have any binoculars. The main attraction is to spot animals that are high on the trees and without binocular it was totally pointless. If you go with this homestay, make sure you get Alfons or Fun as your guides.
Summary: Nice rooms and good price. Attention to the guides.

Positive: Great price-value-ratio and great service. We stayed two nights. Room is pretty big with 2 good beds and good matresses and good AC. Bathroom is a little bit old but has everything you need. The nights were pretty quiet. The restaurant cooks good food. Nasi goreng and Gado Gado 30k IDR each. For breakfast you get 2pancakes with honey and a banana. Free coffee, tea, water all the time. We did two tours with the owner named Fun. He doesn't talk much but he answers all the questions and he is damn good at finding everything you want to see. Even the other guides started following us and using our guide's telescope to show their customers the cool animals. Fun told us the morning tour will be from 6am to 10am but he went into hunting mode and we came back at 12:30 after we really found everything. Evening Tour is from 5pm to 7pm. We had a great time. Everybody there is very nice and tries to make your stay perfect. When we couldn't get a Grab to Bitung Fun waited on the street stopping cars and asking if they can take us until we found one. Also the village is cute, beautiful beach and also good for snorkeling when there is not too much wind.
