Positive: This is a nice hotel, sizeable rooms, very clean with a good bathroom and facilities. Good value for money and good location London Bridge.

Negative: So this room is above a bar. A busy bar playing loud music that is open until 4am on Friday and Saturday nights. To be fair, when I had booked the management did message to explain it was above a bar playing loud music. But given I had booked a non refundable room it was too late by then to do anything about it. It was disruptive, no doubt about it. I think that should have been made clear before someone books, or to only offer a refundable option to customers. Everything else about the hotel was nice but I am afraid the lack of decent sleep means I wouldn’t ever book this again.

Positive: Good-sized room and clean. Although not in central London, it is an easy single bus ride to and from most attractions, including Greenwich. Excellent value-for-money, compared with other weekend options in London. Although above a nightspot, noise is restricted to the vague thud of bass, barely noticed after a busy day exploring London.

Negative: The entrance is actually two doors down from Mambo 190, and branded as a Eurotraveler Premier Hotel, which is confusing (see photo). When we arrived, staff were a bit miffed that we had no photo ID, even though we weren’t advised we would need it, and it isn’t usually necessary for UK citizens staying in the UK (not even in London).

Summary: Clean, good value choice for London tourists.
