Positive: All the staff were amazing. They are truly what made our stay fantastic! Sue, Issa, and Moses made us feel like family. We had an amazing beautiful view. The entire resort is a beautiful garden oasis. I didn’t know there was no AC and they accommodated us with a fan. This helped a lot and we slept very well. The meals were very good.
Negative: The Bure we stayed in needs updating. The sheets were stained. There was what I thought was sand turned out to be dust from the old thatch roof. It was all over everything. The toilet didn’t flush well. It took several attempts and still sometimes wouldn’t flush completely. When we turned the sink faucet on the water sprayed everywhere.
Summary: Although the condition of the Bure was less desirable the beauty of the resort and the beautiful souls of the staff made

Positive: This resort is a kind of 2-to-3-star place in a 5-star location. The gardens and beach are beautiful. Snorkelling was great for beginners and families. The staff are wonderful, very kind and helpful, they leave you alone to relax but are always on hand if you need anything. It's a limited location, for families with younger kids I would recommend take snacks to last the holiday as there is no access to get some. The location and resort will make you slow down and just relax. No TV, no shopping etc but they do give you information on activities and outings. All the food and bar are great, lots of choice for the kids. It's a very quiet place, at least it was when we were there and we loved it.
Negative: We stayed 7 nights so one change of sheets and towels would have been good without us having to ask. We made do drying our towels in the sun every day but shower towels being changed at least once would have been great.
Summary: 2-to-3-star resort in a 5-star location

Positive: The location is fabulous. It's tucked away from the crowds on a private beach offering snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding. Very friendly staff. Comfortable room with great view. Spacious pool. Excellent menu catering to dietary needs. Tours and activities organised easily by the resort.

Positive: We loved the personal, informal flavour of Mango Bay, which I think is the beauty of a 2 star resort as opposed to a bigger, luxury one. The staff are really special and we got to know some wonderful other guests. The setting of Mango Bay is truly idyllic, the sunsets incredible and the food delicious. If you're up for it, take advantage of some of the activities they offer. The day trip into Suva was well worth it. Can't wait to go back
Negative: Bugs. But they come regardless unfortunately
