Do not miss out on this desirable Cottage in beautiful Harbor Village. You will be able to fit three families all under one roof! Great place for kids! This Cottage features open kitchen, living and dining. Perfect for entertaining! Lower level features tons of additional sleeping and another entire living area.
AMENITIES INCLUDE: central air, laundry, hair dryers, charcoal grill, gas fireplace, kids Pack n Play, highchair. WIFI, smart TV’s, and cable TV included.
The kitchen is fully stocked for everyday meal prep. Dishes, pots and pans, silverware, glass, etc. and a drip coffee maker is available for guest use. Additional kitchen items include dishwasher, crock pot, blender, ice maker, electric griddle, and toaster. Also included: bed linens, bath towels, basic cleaning supplies, iron/ironing board, fans, and soaps (not personal soaps), and a starter set of paper products.
LOCATION: Harbor Village is one of Michigan’s finest waterfront resort communities, located in the heart of Manistee at the Lake Michigan shoreline, and is ideal for a waterfront family vacation. Onsite amenities include indoor pool and spa, seasonal outdoor pool and spa, deep-water marina and playground. This main floor condo is located right next door to the pools and less than half a mile from sandy 5th Avenue Lake Michigan Beach and North Pier Lighthouse. It’s about a mile to downtown Manistee.
Check in time is after 4:00PM and check out time is before 10:00AM. Please note that we are not able to accommodate early arrivals or late departures from May – September. Any request for additional time will depend on availability of the rental and an additional fee may be added to the stay.
ARRIVAL: There is no formal check-in procedure. Arrival details are sent prior to your check-in date and will include the exact location of the property, parking and entry information. Guests will have a private, secure entrance and the rental is not shared by owners or other guests.
DEPARTURE: We do have a very short checklist we ask renters follow upon departure. It includes making sure the property is left tidy, furniture is in the same place you found it, everything is closed, locked and turned off, and the thermostat is set properly. These items will only take a couple of minutes but help staff immensely.
Please know that all rental policies and house rules are strictly enforced. This includes occupancy limits, age requirements, the ‘no parties’ and ‘no smoking’ clauses or any other rule posted online or within the rental. These are often defined by local ordinances, Homeowner’s Associations or other legal requirements and can result in fines or eviction if violated. We do not provide additional refunds for cancellations, late arrivals or early departures except as required in the posted cancellation policy.

Summary: Nice cottage but showing some need of update. Appliances are aging….coffee pot was not working nor was the handle on the lounge chair. Shower pressure was excellent and everything was clean and lawn well manicured. We had a very nice week but would recommend a new coffee pot.

Summary: Our family and one other vacation together at the end of the summer each year and this was a perfect place to stay. (4 adults and 3 kids) With three levels there was a ton of room to spread out but also there were good sized rooms that we could all be together during meals or game time. The beach was breath taking. On our first night there we drove down to the beach to walk the pier and watch the sunset. The kids enjoyed the play ground there and we found ourselves back the next day to enjoy it during the day. We also made good use of the indoor pool facility for two days when the weather was cooler. The rental was clean and provided plenty of towels for us to use. It might sound silly but I loved having plenty of ice in the freezer from the ice maker. The pans are a little worse for wear, I ended up buying a couple small pans from meijer to use while there. But I loved being able to use the small electric fry pan for French toast and reheating some food we had prepared and brought along. There is a meijer and family fare within 7 minutes and that was helpful too. The neighborhood was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. It was nice to have a garage to use and store our beach accessories while not in use. A beautiful place that we would love to stay at again in the future.

Summary: Walking distance to the beach and pool was key. Even the young kids (3, 4 & 5 years old) were able to carry a towel and walk to the beach. 5th Avenue Beach is very clean and spacious. They have a snack bar during the day and fire rings for bon fire at night. The property could use some updating but overall it was good for our group.

Summary: The location of this properties and the pools are awesome! We walked to both the beach and pools from the house, but it is probably .75 miles walk to either one. The house layout is definitely more suited to families with children, not 11 adults like we had. The downtown area of Manistee was great! My family had a wonderful time and would love to visit the area again.

Summary: Cozy yet plenty of room for 4 families. Hint - the trundle mattresses on the lower level are SUPER comfortable. Host was very responsive to a minor issue at check in. Close enough to walk to the beach if you want but parking is simple. Kitchen was well equipped to provide meals for all of us.

Summary: This house was great for our group! We had two families there with teens and it worked great for us! There was nice bedrooms for the adults on the main floor and upstairs and the teens loved having their space in the basement area. Its a short walk to both the indoor and outdoor pool areas or Lake Michigan. It was a nice quiet place to stay yet close to stores. We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: The house was nice. We just wanted a quick get away with the kids and grandkids and we had a great weekend together! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the beach nearby. Great size pool and hot tub! I’m sure the beach is even more enjoyable when it’s warm outside! One reason I chose this home was because of the sentence that read “This main floor condo is located right next door to the pool and ....” I’m guessing this was accidentally copied and pasted from another listing because it’s not a condo and it’s not close to the pool. Also, there were not any hot pads or oven mitts making it a bit difficult to cook. I would also suggest that they add a scissor, a pizza pan and another cookie sheet type pan to their inventory. Again, we definitely enjoyed ourselves and would love to return some summer!

Summary: I rented this property to host five siblings who grew up in Manistee. The property was ideal for our purposes: plenty of sleeping spaces and bathrooms, a big dining room table and access to the indoor pool and hot tub.
