Positive: We liked the activities available (games room which we used quite a bit). It's very family friendly and the price is right. I like the seating in the main lobby (quite a bit of private vignettes) so that is well planned. However, they need to be fixed (ripped pool table) and the plinko thing was broken. The shuffle board needs to be fixed to.
Negative: I spilled a little water on the floor and when I went to wipe it up, I was grossed out by how dirty the floor was. My feet were quite dirty walking around the room and I wished I had slippers. The rooms need to be mopped. Our coffee wasn't replenished automatically; I assumed that would happen, but I easily got replacements at the front desk. The steam room wasn't working, but this wasn't advertised on the website. The food at the restaurant wasn't that great...really salty cauliflower bites. The gluten free/vegan chocolate tort was awful. However, I liked the pork bun.

Positive: The location is just off the highway that served the purpose of our visit for star gazing. The room is spacious and equipped with microwave. The restaurant has great options that are all yummy to choose from. The mini market is a great place to find needed stuff.
Negative: The beds and pillows can be upgraded to be more comfortable.

Positive: The cabin was very comfortable. It felt like we were in a community of people, but we still had our own private space. It is located in a national park, so there are not large buildings in the way. lightening lake was so close by, very easy to drive to, great for a swin and to fish!! Thank you for a great time. We made most of our meals but it was great to have the shop and restaurant/bar near by for when we wanted some extra items... like ice cream!

Negative: No air conditioning—room was 27C when we arrived. Luckily they provided a fan in the room. Noise from neighbouring room’s shower was quite loud (late in evening).

Positive: The room was spacious and comfortable. Located in Manning Park which is a beautiful location for dog walks and hikes. The pool was fantastic. very big and they had a small hot tub as well. Small but well equipped fitness room. A restaurant and bar across the parking lot.
Negative: We were disappointed that they had no air conditioning and in spite of being a dog friendly hotel the restaurant and pub did not allow dogs. We ordered take out from the restaurant and I enjoyed by eggplant parmesan but my husband cajon chicken sandwich was terrible. It was hard, and tasteless. The front desk staff at check in were a bit abrupt and they seemed a bit understaffed in general .
