Positive: This was the start of our vacation through Tanzania, followed by a safari and Zanzibar. We booked this hotel mainly to relax after the flight and, of course, to visit the capital. I had booked several fantastic resorts after this, so I initially thought this hotel would be the least impressive, but I'm not so sure anymore. The welcome was very pleasant, the staff are very helpful and kind, and the hotel is really good. The rooms are very clean, and the breakfast is fantastic. The pool is also very nice with a beautiful view. There are very comfortable loungers, much better than they appear in the photos. The only downside was that there was no bar or service at the pool. However, they were working hard on a bar, which looks like it will turn out beautifully. So, it will probably be ready by the time you book a room.

Positive: This is perhaps the very best place to unwind on Zanzibar. If you are seeking long, swimmable white beaches, far from the madding crowd… this is THE best place to be and completely worth a visit. An hour from the airport, the staff are amazing, the facilities an absolute delight and the food substantial. It’s super quiet, so wonderful for reading or writing. Thank you team Manolo - our stay (my 11 year old son and I) of five nights was utter bliss and we would do it again in a heartbeat. 💓 5 ⭐️

Positive: Everything was perfect! We were warmly welcomed by the general manager, who kindly upgraded our booking to a better room. The lady working at the restaurant was incredibly helpful and hospitable. Julius arranged a local tour for us and followed up closely to ensure everything went smoothly. Junior made sure all our needs were taken care of, while Majala and his colleague were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The view was absolutely stunning, the facilities were spotless, and the food was delicious. A special thanks to the chef who prepared a fresh tuna meal just for us — it was outstanding! 😃
Negative: It’s honestly hard to find anything we didn’t like. If we were to suggest one small improvement, it would be to add tea and coffee-making facilities inside the room. That said, it didn’t cause any discomfort as the bar was open until 11 p.m.

Positive: Nice and comfortable rooms with Seaview The manager tried his best to make it a great time. The breakfast was very good. The location is ok so far, if you want to walk around there is the beautiful beach but not much to see around the area apart the beach. The new years eve party and BBQ was very good and it has been a very fair price.

Positive: A wonderful boutique hotel designed in African style with a beautifully kept garden, located right on the beach overlooking the Indian Ocean. Perfectly located swimming pool, overlooking the beach. The hotel provides pool towels and sun loungers (made from local wood and string). The rooms are well-equipped, with comfortable beds, a wardrobe and bedside tables, basic cosmetics, a kettle for tea, a small fridge and a safe. Our room (2-bedroom master suite) had a beautiful balcony view of the pool and ocean. Rooms are cleaned every day. Very nice staff throughout the hotel, always helpful and smiling. We used the hotel restaurant. Very good and healthy food, always nicely presented (bravo to the cook). Wide selection on the menu. We used the shuttle to and from the airport. Everything went smoothly. We arrived late in the evening and a nice touch was the ability to order food despite the late hour. Additionally, the hotel is protected by Masai, so we felt safe.
Negative: everything was perfect.

Positive: The breakfast was standard. We would have appreciated a variety. Also, remove items like bacon from the menu since it’s never there.
