If one follows the narrow winding road from the square, he will eventually come across the welcoming doors of Mansion Kyani. Situated on a hill top, overlooking the surrounding vineyards, the village of Megalohori and the sparkling Aegean in the distance, this harmonic dwelling offers stupendous, all encompassing views.
Upon entering into the courtyard, which is hand - laid by local craftsmen in the traditional "Plakoto", cobblestone paved style, one sees that this mansion affords three separate living areas, two in the ground floor and one in the first, connected by an outside stone flight of stairs.
There is also a recently added extravagant infinity swimming pool and sun deck, made entirely by volcanic rock, where the guests can relax in a beautiful scenery, which is illuminated in a dramatic way during night-time, offering an unforgettable experience.
The serenity of the mansion's sculpture is evident the moment one enters the barn door on the ground floor which leads you into a compact kitchen. Original archways lead through into the magnificent master bedroom with a domed ceiling. An extravagant en - suite bathroom features a large tub and separate shower.
Starting again from the beautiful courtyard, original wooden doors lead into the spacious second double bedroom, which also features an en-suite comfortable second bathroom.
The first floor of this Mansion offers an expansive large terrace, perfect for outside dining, with panoramic views of the surrounding area. Inside, original wooden floors have been restored. The many windows on the upper level of this property allow for brightness and airiness as the beautiful light of the Cyclades seeps through. The comfortable double bedroom on this floor boasts views overlooking the vineyards to one side and the Seas of the Aegean to the other. The same views are enjoyed from the dining room which can comfortably accommodate 6 persons.
On the same floor, there is a spacious bathroom with large tub and separate restroom. The cleverly designed open - plan compact kitchen and well appointed living area allow for casual entertaining.

Summary: Villa was as represented. Great accommodation for our two couples. Plenty of room, outdoor space, daily cleaning by housekeepers, great communication and support from Konstantinos and Takis. Two minute walk to cute village with restaurants, mini mart, gelato and coffee.

Summary: Great property in a quiet town away from the crowds. Close to all the sights though. Host and concierge were very helpful. Made checkin and checkout easy. Helpful with tour arrangements too. The property had all amenities we needed. Good restaurants, a pastry shop, and bus stops are an easy walk. The complimentary rental car came in handy when going to the grocery and some local sights. Overall, a great place to stay in Santorini. Would recommend it.

Summary: We loved our stay here! There were six of us women from three generations of our family ranging in ages 25 to 80. We rented the entire villa and all three separate apartments were united by the outdoor courtyard. The apartments were well furnished, clean and offered daily maid service. The bathrooms were large and offered all the amenities. The air conditioning worked very well and we were never uncomfortable. We gathered at the pool every afternoon after mornings of touring or beaching. We upgraded to a small minivan and were able to navigate the area easily. The car park is less than three minutes away and very accessible. The restaurants right in the middle of Megalochori were a minute away and offered so many great places to eat. Takis, the owner, was available to answer any questions and checked on us regularly. Constantinos, the concierge, greeted us on arrival, answered our questions and made restaurant reservations for us. He went above and beyond! He also told us what day to visit Oia based on how many cruise ships were in port so it would not be so crowded. I would completely recommend this lovely villa to anyone wanting to have a traditional Greek village experience. You are five minutes by car from Fira, if you want lots of hustle and bustle. If you have a group of six, rent the entire place and spread out! This was a perfect place for our family stay on Santorini.

Summary: The villa was perfect! It truly is three separate apartments, each with their own style and character, but with the locked gate it worked well for a family to spread out and still feel safe with the kids in their own units. The outdoor spaces are stunning both day and night. Megalochori is magical. It felt like such a blessing after a day of exploring the island to come home and walk through the town, under the dome of the church and arching flowers back to the villa. Konstantinos was very attentive and helpful and Takis also had great communication with us throughout our stay-thank you both! I really can’t say enough about our experience here. It exceeded our expectations in every regard. Thank you!

Summary: This is a stunning property and well priced. The host and concierge went above and beyond to help us with everything. What we did not realize is the property is actually 3 separate bedrooms with bath and varied levels of kitchen supplies. There is no connection between the 3 suites, and only a small common area and dining room in the upstairs suite. Guests climb 3 sets of stone steps to get to the top. It may have been our fault when reading about the property, but we thought it was a home all on one level. However, the amenities of beauty and location should not stop anyone from renting this property, it is gorgeous.. just know the areas are on different levels and not interconnected.

Summary: The house was exactly as pictured beautiful little village in the middle of the island away from the busy tourist area yet close to everything. Our village had amazing restaurants, great shopping everyone so friendly and helpful. Host was beyond helpful and car is a fabulous bonus we will be back. We celebrated 32 anniversary 60th birthday and engagement it was perfect in every way!
