Positive: A lovely quiet and historic BnB - our room was clean, spacious and well equipped with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was great and Alan was a friendly host. Very much recommended.

Positive: It’s a truly stunning period property, and feels more like a boutique hotel than a very reasonably priced B&B. Alan was the perfect host- truly cares about giving guests the best experience, and puts real love into what he does there. The breakfasts were genuinely the best cooked breakfasts we’ve had in many years, and I’m a chef by trade. The meat was locally sourced, and the continental offering was above and beyond what anyone might reasonably expect. Honestly, the whole experience blew us away, and we’re already trying to work out when we can return.
Summary: I can’t imagine ever finding better.
