Positive: Although the apartment is very small it has everything you need including cooking rings, kettle, coffee maker, toiletries. It was also a great location, a few minutes walk to Metro and bus stops, short walk to the river and Notre Dame. Although on a main road the room was at the back so the only noise was from internal pipes which did hum constantly (got used to it after a while!)

Negative: Found the mezzanine a bit small. Couldn't stand up as the ceiling was so close (could touch while lying in bed) and no room around one side so one person has to more or less climb in from the steps. Very comfy once in though need to be careful getting up in the night.

Summary: Great location, well equipped though very small

Positive: Rahim was an excellent and attentive host; the apartment was a perfect for the four of us to rest and take in the sights around Paris. The sofa bed was the nicest I have ever used, my 13 year old daughter loved the loft bedroom, and it was easy walking distance to the Notre Dame area. There were quite a few cafes and an excellent boulangerie within 1-2 blocks of the front door.

Negative: There were a few side streets nearby that I would not feel comfortable walking around late at night, but it was no different than any other large city. The main street that the property is on is well lit and felt very safe walking to and from Ile de la Cite.

Summary: Marais Lovely was truly a "lovely" stay

Negative: The loft was so low I couldn’t stand up to get into bed, which was a comfortable mattress on the floor. I had to crawl into bed.

Summary: Great location but the loft with the bed was extremely poor.it was over-priced considering the slee.

Positive: The room was quiet, which was nice. Check in and check out were easy. However, messaging through the app didn’t work well and responses from the host were slow. I recommend contacting the host via WhatsApp instead. I had to follow up myself, and I’m not sure if we would have received the instructions without doing so.

Negative: The location is about a 15 minute walk from the metro. The room was clean, but surprisingly very small. We were not informed during booking that the bed was in a loft accessed by a staircase, which was uncomfortable for me as I’m heavily pregnant. The ceiling above the bed is also very low, so there’s a high chance of hitting your head.
