Positive: The property is in a great location to visit neighboring wineries and attractions. The hamper of local produce and wine was excellent and greatly appreciated.
Negative: The bathroom was freezing, the heater in there was ineffective. We did go in the middle of winter.

Positive: Generous breakfast waiting for us. Nice touch with the eggs and bacon also cheese platter and bottle of wine. After the days of exploring surrounds which were a short distance by car away, we had lovely warm nights tucked away in the cottage. We stayed during wet weather, which we were not expecting at the time of booking but the weather did not fault our stay. The cottage was fantastic and cosy. We will be back any time of year. Thanks Wendy.

Positive: The cottage was beautiful! From the moment we arrived, the heating was already turned on and it felt cosy and warm. The little extra touches like the welcome cheese platter, bottle of wine and breakfast items made our stay comfortable and were greatly appreciated. Wendy has thought of everything to make a stay here enjoyable and relaxing.

Positive: Sweetest accommodation. Was warm and cosy. Breakfast supplied was amazing and beautiful standard. Top quality linen on bed and towels. Visited the winery next door and have a lovely experience with staff - Very personal. Wandered up the road and sampled the gin - Was a nice surprise. Went to the old school over the road, offering snack style food on a Monday last afternoon.
Negative: We loved everything. This is minor and would probably not normally worry me. But when away from home it sleep light. We were warned by staff prior - we had possums on the roof both nights of our stay. Husband didn’t hear them, I’m a light sleeper and was woken throughout the night. 🥺 unfortunately it is a part of the environment where cottage is.

Positive: Beautifully presented property with thoughtful extras, such as a cheese platter, a delicious complimentary bottle of wine and generous breakfast provisions. The cottages have a cosy vibe with comfy bedding, and extra rugs and cushions for curling up on the couch. The host turned on the heating for us before we arrived on a coolish day which was very much appreciated. I highly recommend the Marananga Cottages in the heart of the Barossa!
